I am looking for a story about kagome entering a contest by mistake to mate sesshomaru. She finds a cousin of kogan there and calls him brother. She also finds a cheater who is using a shard to win fights.

It's called Vying for Dominance and you can find it on Single Spark. Very much MA, not for YIMS or those not old enough for romance novels.
