I read this fic quite a while ago and now I'm craving to read it again...
it goes something like this :

Sesshoumaru and Kagome are destined to be together, but after the Shikon is completed, Kagome, Naraku, and the alive Shikon are trapped together in time. The Shikon made everyone forget about Kagome, but Sesshoumaru makes his beast remember kagome in his instinct even though his memories will be gone. Kagome, Naraku and the now named Shikon spend 500 years together in another 'space' till modern time catches up. Naraku made a huge mirror so they could see the ongoings on earth, which kagome used to watch over the others.
oh and the Shikon took the form of a young kid while with Kagome and Naraku.
