All that I remember is that Sota get in an accident and Kagome is force marry a monk (who tries to rape her) and her grandfather forbids her to go to the Feudal period. But she are ready mated with Sesshomaru because of that she is force to get laser removal surgery to get rid of her mating mark. The monk had the accident staged. I hopes this helps.
