Looking for a Sess/Kag story. It starts somewhat after the battle with Naraku has ended. Kagome is living with Sesshomaru at his home Somewhere along the lines someone, a soldier of Sesshomaru I presume, was trying to attack Rin and Kagome stepped in and saved her but at the cost of her own life. Once Sesshomaru realizes what had transpired he ran to her side. Inutaisho appears out of a portal of sorts, picks Kagome up from the ground and take her with him telling Sesshomaru that if he wants her back he must retrieve her himself and must earn her trust/love back or other wise she would stay with Inutaisho.

I remember this. She was basically shunned by Maru and took Rins place due to picking a flower. It was incomplete and only a handful of chapters. I think it’s now lost to time
