Fanpoodle: (noun) A sometimes considered derogatory term for an ardent fanfiction reader who latches onto an author and defends said author's work with full heart and mind. Often offers near mindless reviews and will go to great lengths to promote said author's work.

Ex: "OMG! I never would have read this story based upon its summary, but because you wrote it, it has to be good!"

Chat Queen: (title)

The CQ lords over chat and is there at all hours of the day and night. The CQ offers advice and aide freely to all who walk within the hallowed pathways of Dokuga chat. The CQ also monitors other mods who police chat, as well. Unlike the MCL (see above), the CQ does not contain the awesome power of all-knowingness and sometimes has to be brought up-to-date on the current conversation.

THis is the Dokuga Dictionary thread. It has come to our attention that we are creating our own language. So for all new additions, whether they span from forum, chat or comments post them here. Include the word, its definition, pictures if possible.

Nobodieitis: (noun) The disease itself is caused by coming in contact with Nobody. Beware it is highly contagious and infectious.
An electrical malfunction in your cerebral cortex will continue to send incorrect signals to your brain until your typing devolves into unintelligible gibberish, At the second stage, your body will become a beacon for orphaned opossums.


Ex: Fan focs.

Dokugian: (Noun) A member of Dokuga, there are many different types of Dokugians.


Ex: Possessed was voted biggest dokugian.

Karma: (noun) A type of user scoring for members to use in forum. In forum on the upper right hand side of every post is a "Karma option" you can raise or reduce a persons karma. You are only allowed to do this once every six hours so think carefully.

Ex: I gave Yuzuki a karma for her nobodieitis entry in the dokuga dictionary thread.

Opolian: (noun) The official currency of Dokuga.

Ex:

Opo: (noun) The overlord of chat. He is a lecherous and rabid opossum. Do not approach him becuase though his internet skills are great he is not tame. Known for his ability to randomly "boot" dokugians from chat with no warning and tends to favorite some users. His natural habitat is the trunk of Sesshoumaru's red mustang and it is believed he was led here by a Dokugian.

Def 2: Miss Kagura's favorite animal

Def 3: Dokuga's unofficial mascot.

Ex: Opo is in a foul mood today, he booted E.S. from chat 10 times.

Glomp: (verb) A glomp is often preadatory and lies somewhere in the grey area between a caring embrace, and a flying leap to tackle someone.

Ex: Akumi loves to glomp everyone in chat.



Chat Beta: (noun) A person who proof-reads and edits responses in chat.

Ex: We wish Yuzu was here she is nobodies chat beta!



Faux Guest: (noun) A member of Dokuga disguised as a guest when entering in chat.

Ex: Argesh likes to pretend she is a faux guest to hide her identity.

Team Awesome(awesome noun): An organization pledged to awesomeness and the obvious greatness of its members. Lead by the wit and brilliance duo, Rose and Ladybattousai, any dokugian has the privilege of joining. However, they must be given the title "minion" upon signing up. It is not without its perks as health benefits, a cape and the right to mutiny after three months is a part of the package.

"Behold the Light" (awesome phrase): The tagline of Team Awesome. The word light is usually represented in the chatroom as the icon of a lightbulb. The lightbulb of course, lending itself to not only brilliance by the light it exudes, but also to wit for its perpetual relation to the concept of an idea.

Improv Storytime (event): The object of this activity is to author a story using other members currently occupying the chatroom and to create an original plotline for the involved characters. Often an adjective or title is associated with the characters (Ex: Asthma Mikaela, Prince-cess Possessed) and these associations are weaved into the constructed storyline. Once finished, each story is typically under 1,000 words in length, but some have grown to become several chapters long. Also, while singular authors are prevalent, the stories are frequently written by teams of two. The teams operate so that when one author finishes several lines of prose, then the next author picks up the tale and inserts the following lines.

Michi:(noun) Represented by the first "penguin" icon in chat. He is the first born chat room baby. Child of Yuzuki and Zyren. Also the cause of Nobody's Penguin Challenge.

Ex: Yuzuki and Zyren settled their custody case for Michi.


Sandbox:(noun) The neutral zone to avoid all possible Team Awesome Attempts. Comes with cookies.

Ex: Akay sits in the sandbox swapping cookies.

Huggles:(verb) A hug and snuggle combined into one.

Ex: Takuza loves to huggle.

Timeout: (noun) The place Opo sends you at random moments. It pauses all possible writing for a few seconds or more.

Ex: See "Opo" definition/example.

Uterus Pet Carrier: (noun) Should be self-explanatory, but simply put it means pregnant woman.

Ex: Miss Kagura calls Yuz and herself uterus pet carriers.

Duck and Goose: (noun) The Geese are combatants of the Dark Evil Opo Lord. A force of nature sent to cleanse the slopes of Dokagu Valley of the evil presence that only Opos can bring. Duck the perverted and lecherous goose is was forced to wear Rosary beads on his left webbed foot to stop the wondering of said foot. Goose, the wife of Duck is his keeper.

Ex: Duck and Goose are the noble protectors of Nostawen Allesi.

Victor: (Noun) he is the soccer ball in the chat room. when you get bored and are alone you can talk to him....but beware he is very sarcastic

Ex. (insert Victor here)"Do you realize that i am a figment of your imagination?"

Emergency Beta: (noun) A person who temporarily betas a story or drabble when the normal beta cannot be found or the writer has no beta.

Ex: I went to chat today because I needed an emergency beta.

Review Whore (noun): Dokuga term for an author who places a limit (generally ostentatious) on the number of reviews she wants before she updates her (generally) crappy fanfic. Once found, is treated with rare inconsideration, evil Mary-Sueing, vicious slandering, and general jackhammering till she gives up her pimping tendencies.

ficdriver- A host of fans who resort to: bullying, bribing, cajoling and outright threatening an author to finish their work. In case of encountering said fans, an author should consider one of the following: Run, hide, fight, or dutifully go back to finish the fic in order to avoid a mass of rabid people coming after them with pitchforks and keyboards.

Heggles: the act of attempting to hug and snuggle someone while under the heavy influence of Nobodieitis.

Fanfic Pimping: (verb) a point where authors request you read their story if you're looking to read something. Totally nothing to be ashamed of.
