Ugh. That is so disgusting... It's really sad though because that person obviously took the time to type it out. If they had just gone the 'copy & paste' route and then changed the names, there wouldn't be so many spelling errors. And the second chapter... you can tell where Danyealle's work stopped and theirs started - it went from decently written to absolute crap... It's pathetic. I must say though, that I'm not sure why the site admins haven't done anything about it yet. It usually doesn't take them very long.

The fact that she actually typed that knowing full well she was lying and trying to take credit for a story that is not hers is completely disgusting to me. I don't understand why people go out and do this. Do they really think they are going to get a pat on the back?? What do they get out of it??

Danyealle, I have never read your story, but when I saw this thread, I took a look at the first few paragraphs and compared them to the other story. It was quite obvious that your story had been stollen! I cannot believe someone would do such a disgusting thing!!

I truly know how you feel! I have had it done to me once before, with "The Preferential Slave." One of my readers had discovered the theft and reported it before notifying me.

It is truly pathetic that there are people willing to put their names on other people's work and claim it as their own. I am so sorry that this has happened to you.

I hope they ban her instead of just deleting the story. Honestly, reposting the same story just in a different category ....this girl makes me sooo mad!

I haven't been around Dokuga long, in fact I haven't read the policy, but I'm guessing their stance is don't.

Here at the University even crediting it would still be plagerism. You can't credit an entire literary work, you can only use bits and pieces. For intance if i were a professor and liked another professor's paper I could not publish theirs saying it was written by them. It would still be considered plagerism. And it would make the person look like a tosspot. Really? Why not just save the story you like to your 'favs'. It doesn't need to be re-posted.
