Thank you so much everyone!!
The world's newest Sesshie-fangirl, Jenessa Mellea, made her debut at 2:42 AM on Friday, January 13, 2012 (because, yes, my daughter would be born on Friday the 13th  ). However, though I was discharged today and arrived home just a few short hours ago, Jenessa was found to be jaundice and has to stay in the hospital nursery under photo-therapy lights (I trust the many moms & aunties that populate this site already know what this means & I don't need to explain it). She is, otherwise, perfectly healthy and if her bilirubin count comes down enough then I'll get to bring her home tomorrow.
I know it's not a 'serious' issue, but if you guys could please just hold a good thought for us on this- it's heartbreaking to be here without her, even if it's only for a little while.

I almost, ALMOST had to leave my son for the same reason, but the doctor managed to squeeze another day for me, and Steven improved enough to go home with me by then. I was PANIC-STRICKEN! My heart goes out to you, even tho we all know that it's 99% of the time not serious, cuz it just HURTS to be without them!
Heartiest congratulations again on your Friday the 13th darling, highest hopes that she improves enough to come home SOONEST, and best wishes for an AMAZING future for you all!
