I write to let the plunnies run free.
Long: I started writing to let my imagination go, when I write, the plot bunnies run free and I can write. Since I was young I loved to write. I always wrote stories, and when I do the plot bunnies take over.
Can you make the banner R0o?

Short: I write to create something beautiful~
Long: I write because I want to create something that moves people to tears or causes a sense of longing for the characters or sadness. I write because emotion is the very essence of what makes us human and I like to capture that emotion with a fictional character and make them real.
I remember my old stories and I look back at them and I ask myself why I ever really posted them.
I look at what I have written now and the responses I get and it being not only a sense of satisfaction but a sense of knowing. Not everyone can write a substantial piece just like not everyone can draw or sing.
I want to create something so beautiful that it is re-read time and time again. I want to write of a sadness so heart breaking that people can't bare to continue but can't help themselves. I want write of a love so palpable that my readers can feel their hearts beating in time with the characters. I want to write something so bittersweet that my readers ache.
I just want to put emotion out on a page and create something out of a blank document.
All I have ever wanted to do is write and I just never want to stop. It's my passion and passion never really dies, it just wanes for awhile before rising up again with a vengeance.
I write to leave my mark on the world and I plan to be one of the greats.

Short: I write to find away to stay and extend my own little world.
Long: Since I was little I had started to create my own little world in my head. And as the years gone by it got bigger, new characters, new settings. When I got together with some friends in middle school, we started to write fanfiction with us in them. That helped me start writing my own stroies. I still have my world, though it has change with so much fanfictions, animes, mangas, video games, and real life. It has helped me get through some tough times, and there are times I really just want to stay there.
Hope this is ok....

Short: I write to change my reality.
Long: My granddad died when I was six. At that point in time, he was the most important person in my life so... Yeah I fell into a small depression, and my sister shoved a piece of paper and a pencil at me. I think she wanted me to cope by drawing but instead I started writing. I made it so my life was different and nobody had to ever die and stuff. It helped me cope with the loss and accept it. Writing was the only reason I was able to move on. Life has put me through tough situations since then, but writing helped me stay sane. The only time I ever felt free was when I wrote. I guess it also helped clear my mind and let me stay motivated.

well...
Long:
I write because it's the only sane thing to do. I mean, I liked the way the manga ended, though I would have done it differently, but that's my opinion. I write fanfiction about these two and other characters *I will have to update my fanfictions about Sessh/Kag soon* because I want to try new things, things that aren't common in the old story or times. I write because I want to make something more out of a relationship that, practically, doesn't exist in the original version.
Furthermore, writing is an experience that few people master and I want to get better at it, if you get my point

I write because I want to

Short:
I write to express my emotions.
Long:
I often lash out at people when I'm angry, sad, or scared. So I started writing when I was around 12. At first it was silly stories about a little girl and boy, or a girl and her pet wolf. I then started noticing that my writing took the same emotion that I was feeling. If I was sad, I would usually write about my grandmother, who had been taken before her time. If I was angry, that happy little girl would have a fight with her pet wolf, and he would go away for a while.
What's really funny is I do that even now. I'm sad, something happens in my stories that make my characters sad. It has also helped me cope with the events in my life, and has helped me through a lot. (I wrote horrible, depressing poetry when I was 14 and 15). It also helped me develop my writing skills, and turned me out to be the romance author that I am today.

I always wanted to post in this and finally found the time.
Short: I write to share the overflowing images in my mind.
Long: I always had so many ideas, so many pictures in my mind. When I was younger I used to tell my self stories, later I used to nick my fathers typewriter and put them down, but I was way to embarrassed to tell anyone.
The first computer arrived in our house and I begun to type my stories in there, still not able to overcome my own shyness and to show them to any one. Then my baby girl arrived and my overdriving imaginary had no longer an outlet in my work as designer.
I found Dokuga and noticed that others loved this unusual pairing just like me and my decision was made. I would no longer write only for me, but write and share it, even if it meant that I had to do so in a language that is not my own.
So I sat down and begun to finally share all those images in my mind. I don´t think I will stop ever to write, because the more I wrote the more I enjoy it and I hope that those who reads my stories do as well.
PS: Dear r0o I would love it if you handle the banner, as I don´t own the font.

Short: I write to prove magic does exist.
Long: Every time you write your creating life through your words. As we read, our minds create these worlds that play out like movies. We worry for the characters, we are happy for them, we are sad for them, we make them real. Now that is what I call magic

Short: I write to relax. It's therapeutic.
Long: I love to write to relax and let go of the day. I also find that when I'm frustrated with work or issues I at work, I tend to be more creative and writing releases some of the stress I'm feeling. When I start my day, I open my email and my other work windows and then I open Word so I have a space to write when something comes to me. It's therapeutic for me!

Long version: I write to create an alternate universe that I can control. Throughout my entire life, I've felt that I had no control over anything. My mother even tried (and still does try) to control my emotions by telling me how I should feel and getting upset with me when I don't feel the way she thinks I should. Fanfiction, when I first found it, gave me an escape I've needed. It allowed me to do and feel whatever I wanted. I started out writing real people fanfiction, then original stories, then I found Inuyasha fanfiction. It gives me some small measure of control over something. I can write AU which gives me all but free reign, but also allows me to have some base from which to progress from.
In short, I write to have control when life feels uncontrollable.

Short: I write to... give myself and someone else a smile.
x'D
Long: I started off fictional writing as a young child, and only writing more seriously suring my teens. After a while though, on the few forums I was a member of, I got tired of it, and all the posturing and showing off with detail, and no actual enjoyable stories, and reverted back to what I always had; reading books, and leaving fanfiction behind.
But then I stumbled across some other fiction online. [i]Incredible[/]i stories, better than a lot of books I had gone through, with fun, excitingm interesting stpries, which not only motivated me, but reminded me that I was supposed to have fun with writing. I write to provide enjoyment for myself, and hopefully others. > u <
I haven't gone back, although there was a three year break, as it relaxes me, and I give back to the community, isntead of just being a consumer. It has helped improve my writing skills, and art, and for that I am grateful. > u <
