You could write about the repression of women throughout history. There's TONS of information on that. It would be really easy to write about.

Or, you could just write about women's roles in history. After all, some cultures were matriarchal. Anyway, I usually wrote about that for my history assignments, and I just found it easy because of how many sources there are for that kind of information.

I agree! I don't believe in 2012, but I find it very interesting and would be a fun subject to do an assignment!

All of these sound so great! no I do not like to write much while I a at school, I am usually on autopilot then.

The mayan calander sounds like a great topic though, i'll try for that.
