I found this link to be pretty helpful. The info at the top is pretty general, but at the bottom of the page they post live updates, which are somewhat helpful. I'm kind of in the same boat as you though. Finding info on these protests is kind of tough!

I know some people think that CNN is "biased," somehow, but you might want to check there for news... their people have been on the scene and broadcasting live since the protests began.

Anderson Cooper and his crew were assaulted this morning, but Anderson was still broadcasting to the extent that he could... gripping and very informative, if you ask me.
