I write to create worlds for people to get lost in. (if you could do the banner please?)

I've always read as a way to escape from reality for at least a little while. and I know i'm not the only one. I've always wanted to create a story so amazing that i could ensnare someone with my words. take them to some far off place. some distant journey.so for me, it doesn't matter if it though fan fiction, or real novels; as long as i can do for others that those amazing authors have done, and continue to do for me, then i'm satisfied.

The short of it (and for the banner): I write to entertain and let my imagination go wild.

The long of it: I've read fanfiction since I was in college. It started in the DBZ universe, then it expanded to other universes and eventually landed in the IY universe. After a while, I figured why not start writing my darn self and I've been writing ever since.

Besides drawing, writing has been a outlet for me. Sometimes what I can't say out loud sounds better in words. I use to be shy and not very outspoken so when I was younger this was my way of getting attention and for people to listen to me. And it worked. I'm more outspoken now (and not as shy) of course but my writing has helped out a lot. My emotions and feelings I have problems telling (even to my family and my husband) out loud. I think emotions are a weakness to a degree (and with everything happening it seems that I've just had an emotional and mental meltdown, crying at the drop of a hat too! ) and writing helps me cope with that insecurity. As my saying above says writing helps to free the chaos from my mind. Because if I didn't write I would probably be in a room with padded walls right about now...

Silly Freya, r0o made this thread so that people Could ask for it simply by telling why they write!

I don't know that it's an entirely accurate statement- since apparently I see the world filled with supernatural creatures, but I think I kind of like how it sounds.

Thank you so much! *hugs* and yes I am silly, get used to it now, people, 'cause my stay on Dokuga this time around is gonna be a lot longer than my last run was. But yes, I can get a li'l annoying with things like asking for permission on something I've already been told I could use. I like people to know that I don't forget to be thankful for whatever it is they're doing for me or helping me out with, ya know? >_>... That and I have a lot of unbridled sarcasm that can rub people the wrong way, so I have to balance that out somehow XD.

Long: I started writing at age 11 to get away from the real world. My parents were strict about me going places, so I started writing and pretended I was one of the characters and it made me feel like I was really there. It freed my soul when my body was trapped.

Short: I write to free my soul. (Can you do it for me r0o? You're awesome at it!)
