Favorite childhood movies? 14 Years, 3 Months ago

I love me some Disney cartoons, but my favorite movies as a child were always the ones with really dark animation. The Last Unicorn, Secret of NIMH, Land Before Time, and Watership Down (the movie, not the fruity series they played on tv awhile back) are the four that come to mind.
I was curious to know about everyone else! What are the movies you loved as a child and will always have a soft spot for?

Holy crap yes!! I forgot about TMNT!! Ohhh the things they say. I remember it being the coolest movie ever, but when I watch it now it's so cheesy and lame... yet I'll always love it.

We didn't have a T.V. in my house for a really long time, so I never connected with a lot of movies. But the one movie that I did, and still do, love was Pokemon the First Movie. I kid you not, when Ash got hit with Mew and Mewtwo's attacks and then he died and then everybody started crying.... I cried. I cried so hard the first time I saw it and I still do. T.T

If we are talking kids movies, the last unicorn, the dark crystal, fox and the hound. However I was allowed to watch anything without nudity as a kid, i grew up on monster movies, and old movies with my daddy. I remember the movie orca when i was kid gave me nightmares, and my favorite movies were all of the old godzilla movies, and i remember as a kid seeing jaws with my aunts, all the different dracula movies. The scariest movie i ever watched but loved it was American werewolf in london. We had a dog that looked like the werewolf, he was a lab chow mix and huge, his name was duffy. All the kids in the neighborhood were scared of him, after we let a few watch it.
The movie Legend about the Unicorns was another favorite of mine, and there was this old cartoon called fire and ice, not the one about dragons either this movie was from the early 80's. I remember visiting my parents and little brother one weekend, and when my parents went out we watched Heavy Metal for the first time, I was 11 and my brother was 9, that was an experience.
I also remember Watership Down, and thought it was neat, a little freaky but neat.

I have two lab/chow mix lol and I know what you mean Kori
scariest movie as a kid was "The Exorcist" my parents were mega religious so I was told if I wasn't a good Catholic girl I would turn out like Linda Blair...still can't watch the movie without passing out...some childhood fear even though I'm twenty-two now
also wasn't a big fan of Chuckie...didn't have an dolls because of him...
