Hello Everyone, this is Youkai Yume.

And as you all know, recently there has been an art thief taking mine and other works, altering them, and then posting them as her own.

I thank everyone who brought it to my attention and those who decided to take the initiative and report her. Really, I'm touched that you all rallied so quickly. I had planned on resolving the matter myself and try not to involve anyone else, but I'm touched by the support without my initiation regardless.

I'm here now though to say that it seems that she removed or had them all deleted from her site. I'm happy that you all supported me, but there's no more need to get riled up anymore and turn hostile, especially on Dokuga.

Now, whether or not she decides to post them on other sites such as photobucket remains to be seen. You all did the right thing by telling me first, and reporting her. If you ever see art theft here or anywhere just remember to stay as civil as possible and try to solve it in a calm manner. If that doesn't work, just report it.

Again, I thank you all for the support and quick response. I'm so lucky to have viewers and fans like you. For now though, let's just call this case closed. ^^

I was being very polite and civil when I was warning her, even showing concern about her getting banned from the site. I told her that I wouldn't report her because I believe in giving people a chance... I can't believe she called us snobs. *Sighs* Oh well, it's all over now. No more need to talk about it.

Art theft is so common these days, and it scares me that somewhere out there, someone might be broadcasting my work as there own. o.o I dear hope not.

And I sooo totally agree with you Miss K! And with Mokomoko-sama on our side, we shall hunt down the offenders and bring justice!

You know, once upon a time I had thought I was relatively immune to art theft because I wasn't super popular. But recently I've run into a rash of art thieves stealing my shizz. One of the more annoying one was on facebook. They'd used my artwork on an application there and it took me forever to figure out who to contact to get it taken down. My persistence in the matter eventually won out, but it was damned annoying.
