Hi
It's MS again, and we are always curious..
So i'm curious...
is there anyone out there that eats oreo cookies like i do?
I open the cookie in two, one side with no cream, other with cream.
eat the cookie without the cream, then have one heck of a time removing the cream from the other side, then dunking it into milk and eating it last..
O_O just curious..
My cousin seem to call me weird whenever i buy a box of oreos...

I thought everybody did that... Dang. And that's the one thing I haven't been called weird for (yet).-__-
Oh well. I get called weird almost everyday, just because I do things a certain way. But what's so wrong with being different? It's those differences that set us apart from everybody else. My mum said to me the other day, "If anyone calls you weird, you just say: I'm not weird, I'm just unique." She doesn't like the word "weird". She finds it a bit offensive when it's used to describe another person. *Shrugs* I don't mind either way. I'm used to it.

Lol believe me, it's not cereal.
It's mush...
amongst the white milk you see spots of black cookie parts.
It's more like...
melted cookies-n-cream ice cream..

It doesn't work as well with the chocolate cream for some reason, though.

I don't eat oreos - I'm too cheap to buy them. |D And I don't like just milk, so I'd have to do that with chocolate milk if I did it at all. Now I'm curious, though. :'D

There are people who don't eat oreos like that? I was basically taught to eat them like that, except that I don't always have milk available to me.

They have vanilla Oreos now for you chocolate allergic folk (I think they might be called Golden Oreos, but I'm not sure...)
I'm lactose intolerant so I never eat Oreos with milk. I just pull the two halves apart, lick all the icing off and then eat the icing free cookies one at a time.

I'm kind of like Langus, while i'm not lactose intolerant i am very picky about milk so most of the time i just don't drink it. but i always eat the icing off the oreo first then the chocolate cookies separate.

Am I the only person who tries to eat the cookies before the filling? LOL.
And does anyone else have to eat those Peek Freans' Fruit Cream cookies in a certain way (ie. pull ring off top, munch, lick off cream, nibble cookie around the fruity filling and then eat that last)? It's a bit compulsive, actually - I get weirded out when I eat them a different way.

Well, I only take the cookie apart when I eat Oreos without milk. I'll eat the side with no cream and then the side with the cream. When I do have milk, I like to really soak my Oreo until it's no longer crunchy.
I've tried the Golden Oreos. I really like them. I've even tried the mint Oreos too. Though with these cookies, I preferred them without milk.
I must say, Nefret, I have never heard of Peek Freans' Fruit Cream cookies before. But if I were to eat them, I'd probably follow in your footsteps!

Omg Nefret! I love those too!!
Especially the peach one... *drools*
To be honest, Mint and Chocolate taste better as a candy bar or ice cream.
It really doesn't match for cookies.. especially a OG oreo freak like me

I found this online and it suits this thread perfectly! Enjoy finding out about yourself by how you eat an oreo.
Psychologists have discovered that the manner in which people eat Oreo cookies provides great insight into their personalities. Choose which method best describes your favorite method of eating Oreos:
1. The whole thing all at once.
2. One bite at a time
3. Slow and methodical nibbles examining the results of each bite afterwards.
4. In little feverous nibbles.
5. Dunked in some liquid (milk, coffee...).
6. Twisted apart, the inside, then the cookie.
7. Twisted apart, the inside, and toss the cookie.
8. Just the cookie, not the inside.
9. I just like to lick them, not eat them.
10. I don't have a favorite way because I don't like Oreos.
Scroll Down to find your results...
Your Personality:
1. The whole thing:
This means you consume life with abandon, you are fun to be with, exciting, carefree with some hint of recklessness. You are totally irresponsible. No one should trust you with their children.
2. One bite at a time:
You are lucky to be one of the 5.4 billion other people who eat their Oreos this very same way. Just like them, you lack imagination, but that's okay, not to worry, you're normal.
3. Slow and Methodical:
You follow the rules. You're very tidy and orderly. You're very meticulous in every detail with every thing you do to the point of being anal retentive and irritating to others. Stay out of the fast lane if you're only going to go the speed limit.
4. Feverous Nibbles:
Your boss likes you because you get your work done quickly. You always have a million things to do and never enough time to do them. Mental breakdowns and suicides run in your family. Valium and Ritalin would do you good.
5. Dunked:
Every one likes you because you are always up beat. You like to sugar coat unpleasant experiences and rationalize bad situations into good ones. You are in total denial about the shambles you call a life. You have a propensity towards narcotic addiction.
6. Twisted apart, the inside, and then the cookie:
You have a highly curious nature. You take pleasure in breaking things apart to find out how they work, though not always able to put them back together, so you destroy all the evidence of your activities. You deny your involvement when things go wrong. You are a compulsive liar and exhibit deviant, if not criminal, behavior.
7. Twisted apart, the inside, and then toss the cookie:
You are good at business and take risk that pay off. You take what you want and throw the rest away. You are greedy, selfish, mean, and lack feelings for others. You should be ashamed of yourself. But that's ok, you don't care, you got yours.
8. Just the cookie, not the inside:
You enjoy pain.
9. I just like to lick them, not eat them:
Stay away from small furry animals and seek professional medical help - immediately.
10. I don't have a favorite way, I don't like Oreo cookies:
You probably come from a rich family, and like to wear nice things, and go to up-scale restaurants. You are particular and fussy about the things you buy, own, and wear. Things have to be just right. You like to be pampered. You are a priss.

LOL!!! I don't often eat cookies, but when I eat Oreos, I put the whole thing in my mouth at once, so number 1 for me...
The descriptions for the various ways are just too funny!

I didn't think my way of eating oreos could sound so sinister.
(I twist it apart, eat the inside, and then dunk the cookie)
lol. Thanks, LC. This was a fun read.
