I was scrolling through my favorited stories and noticed that some were written quite a while ago. Thought it was strange as I remembered reading them as in progress but they've been up for seven or eight years.....

Time freaking flies. Hard to believe I've been around that long.

Duuuuude... you really want to freak about time flying? Take a look at your munchkin!! You turn around and the little buggers are talking and running, when they were just cooing and crawling yesterday! Or, in my case, they're freakin' DRIVING, when it seems like I was just putting diapers on their butts.

I, for one, am so glad you joined us, though, and am delighted that you've come back when you've had time. The years may be many, but the stories have been fantastic!

I know that feeling, mine turns 4 in November....

Settling in to a new job, probably moving in a year or two. Looking at houses. Sometimes I miss being a teenage.

Oooooh, hope the job goes well, as does house-hunting!!

Kinda lucky the munchkin isn't in school yet, given the state of the "union" lately - here's hoping we get stuff fixed before the little guy starts his school career!
