I don't know if I can post this on here, but I really don't want her to get away with it. Not living credit to an artist for their ideas is like plagiarism, in the words of Theia.

Unfortunately with dA there isn't much you can do. They don't care about character theft, only art theft and blatant traces. JeniNeji would have to be the one to actually report it, but without direct proof of "theft" (and I use that term by dA's specifics of traced original art or the taking of someone else's art and reposting) I highly doubt that they would officially do anything.

About the best that could happen is bugging the artist enough to remove it or properly credit it.

EDIT: this looks like it might be fanart for JeniNeji. At least the category would suggest it.

the stop-plag community on LJ does, and has, taken on cases of stolen artwork. Try reporting it there. They've been pretty successful in getting stuff downed from places.

Please Don't use Dokuga's name in any attempt to get them to take it down, but it would be appropriated if you did drop her a note saying that you have reported it, even if FFN hasn't gotten any. We all know FFN usually doesn't work fast enough or even at all when it comes to these things, and that it's usually the overwhelming response from fan's who stick up for both the author and the community.

Well, Let me say I am outraged for you, Sugaroo. I let the author know through review that the blatantly plagiarized piece needed to be taken down but my review didn't post. ???

I've reported it and left a review telling the 'author' that I've done so. I'm also using what spare time I have to look at some of the other stories... they sound very familiar.

Hopefully, if the 'author' gets enough reviews or PMs telling her/him that they've been reported, they'll take it down themselves.

I just attempted to access the plagiarized story and the error was "Story not found." I also got into sugar0o's story, so ff.net is working okay for me at the moment.

I can get on ff.net just fine. The 'story' is the only thing that isn't available. You might have to check your wifi.

One of our own has had her work stolen and posted under some twits name. WORD FOR WORD.
not only that but the thief is a greedy active thing most if not all of her fics are coming under fire as stolen, and there's 70+ of them. If your a fan of any of the other genra's please take a look and see if you can help.

I've reported her. Plagiarism is such a weird thing to do, especially when it's word for word.

FYI, this person is known for their reposting. I ousted this person to the original authors I've found and she took down 20 fics from upset readers and authors, reducing her fic count from 72 to 50, but now she's up to 72 again. All same fics. So this thief seriously NEEDED to be banned from the site. They were already banned from A03 so lets try and get this person banned from ffn!

Also, note from ladykikyou's 28th chapter (updated in 2015) implied that this person may or may not be the same thief. >: (

Well, she deleted the fic in question! However, I highly doubt this is the end and I'm positive she will repost it. She did this before, sadly, and there is still 60+ more fics to find the origins of.
