So I just finished watching Yona of the Dawn and it was amazing. It has been awhile since anything has caught my attention like this anime did (other than Inuyasha), and I really want to watch something that is as good as this. It doesn't have to have the same story line but it has to have romance . I am looking for an anime that stirs up emotions and makes you feel empty when you finish it. If anyone has any suggestions please tell me!

Perhaps Kamisama Kiss (Kamisama Hajimemashita). I think it's similar to InuYasha, because it has youkais and stuff. Maybe you'll like it.

Kamisama Kiss is great. Angel Beats is classic, but always leaves me in tears, Moribito is quiet, but so well animated and beautiful, and Love Stage! is too adorable.

I think Yona of the Dawn has been the most heart wrenching anime I have seen so far because the romance relationship is between a princess and her body guard....a forbidden relationship.
I really hope you read the manga for Yona of the Dawn (also known as Akatsuki no Yona). The manga is soooo much more better and heart throbbing.
I would recommend Special A, Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji, and I highly recommend "The World is Still beautiful (also known as Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii)"
The list goes on...

"Library wars" is another anime that is really worth re-watching and never gets boring.
There is "Akagami no Shirayuki-hime" that is coming soon...1st episode in 8 days or so and there is a lot of hype for this anime because the manga is so popular. It is a romance between a Prince and Doctor

Uraboku was a good one too and naturally I would suggest Kamisama but you all ready saw that one but did you read the manga? Goodanime.net has it.

Akatsuki no Yona! No kidding... I loooove its manga and its anime! Have been a fanatic fan since the first time the manga translated in my country... And I love the artist, Mizuho Kusanagi too! Love her style, have been fallen in love since 'NG Life'! I didn't know how she could pull out such hillarious stories but on the other side could be so much heart-wretching and tears-jerking!

I like all the suggestions! They were fantastic anime too! And my suggestions are:
1. Natsume Yuujinchou, a very heart warming and sweet despite there were 'battle' here and there.. Has 4 seasons, but couldn't help to want moooore!
2. Chihayafuru, absolutely gorgeous works and absolutely team Taichi on the money!
3. Nagi no Asukara, a very gorgeous and brilliant backgrounds!
4. Zetsuen no Tempest, sooo deep and love the out-of-the-box and twisted plot!
5. Noragami, love the theme! Brilliant idea! And of course love Yukine!
6. Honey & Clover, a classic, one of my favorite anime all the time! An out-of-the-box, very deep and poetic but on the other side a very hilarious anime! One of my reason why I chose the Art and Design faculty sor my barchelor degree! And tadaaa! I did got a few close friends as hilarious as this anime characthers!

Oh, there is an one-shoot anime (movie) that made me scream, 'What is thiiiiiis!!!' because its artworks, its story, its backgroud music and its ending... '5 Centimeter Per Second' and of course if you smitten with this anime, you'll love the artist, Shinkai Makoto, other one-shoot stories like 'Garden of Words' and 'Hoshi wo Ou Kodomo' (Children Who Chase Lost Voices From Deep Below)! Now the anime is out and the first epsiode is really great!!!!!
The beginning is a little bit different than the manga but really cool!!
Prince Zen is amazing. I thought so would look a child of Sesshomaru and Kagome.

Ranma 1/2 is the anime I watched right after I first saw Inuyasha and i'm telling you its AMAZING!! You will get hooked right away, it's an older anime but the storyline is sooooooo good! Also love Eureka, but the anime's ending is NOTHING compared to the heart wrencher that was the manga

Kodomo no Omocha is a funny one, and worth a watch (or a read?)

If you ARE interested in any good mangas, I could go on for days oh my god
