So this morning I woke up feeling sick, which usually happens if something bad is about to happen. I've always been like that since I was a kid, so anyway I checked my emails and such this morning and this person PMed me on FFN asking if I do requests. I was polite and asked what he possibly wanted me to write about. He said a Fox News anchor ( for those outside the U.S. It's a conservative news station). That wasn't the issue what he wanted to happen to her is. I can't post the exact details since there are minors lurking about on here, but it made my skin crawl. Anyone else have this happen to them? If so what do I do? Sorry if this isn't allowed on this board, but I figured this was the best one to post this in. This whole thing has me unnerved.

To answer your question, report him to the mods (but don't expect much of a response) for sexual harassment, then block him. Whatever you do, do not respond to him further... that just encourages those people.

I'm sorry that happened to you. I know several of our authors have been approached by others for 'requests' or 'co-authoring' (which usually means write their story for them). It's not unusual, but that he would go into suggestive detail is a new one.

I didn't really mind the request thing, just what he wanted was disturbing to say the least. I contacted the mod about it just five minutes ago, which I'm sure they have a lot to deal with. It was just creepy. Thanks for the advice!

Best thing I have seen all day! Honestly I think everyone has a built in Squick-O-Meter but when you surf the net (even with censors) you see things even eye bleach/brain bleach can't remove. -shakes head-

This just makes me laugh. Squick-O-meter, haven't heard that in a long time.
