This is anything, right? So I can talk about how much I adore Kashima and Hori? Seriously! The 'Prince' is awesome, and I just adore the way Hori gushes about her to Chiyo-chan. They're my favorite pairing in the series!

Y'know, we DO have a chat feature that would allow you all to communicate in real time? Since the Admins get a notification of EVERY SINGLE forum response that gets posted, it would be nice if you could use chat for communications like these, please? Cuz, like, I wake up to about 100 emails when the forum blows up like this, and... WOW?
Srsly, it would be good to explore the chat feature here on the site if you all want to get together and talk about your fave characters, etc. And, the admins (like me) would appreciate it too!

I do know that you need to use the Chrome browser - it works much better with chat. If you are still having problems, please post about it in the Bug Reports thread on the forum and our tech guru, Mitharus, might be able to help! Be sure to be specific about what is happening when you try to use chat when you post.
And please don't worry... it just gets confusing when there are a lot of forum posts. Since we need to monitor the forum to keep spammers and profanity off, that means we have to look at all posts, y'know?

To be fair, tai IS one of the potential readings for the kanji "big, large". Just not the correct one in case of daiyoukai.
Also tai can mean fish or several other things depending on what kanji it is written with. For example, it can mean "band" as it does in Shichinintai.

I have also read on many sites the different meanings for Tai and Dai.
In my stories i would write it like a "military" rank. Like General and Leutnant, the Taiyoukai is a higher rank as the Daiyoukai. Our stories spring from our imagination and we could actually use the words as we want. However, we should express this explicitly, so readers understand it. Alternatively, the authors use the correct expression. But that determines each for himself/herself, as he / she wants to do it.
That´s my opinion.
