Too bad he's only medium sized, but still cute!

I wanted to name him Sesshoumaru but my brother named him Yoshi

He's still an absolute cutie tho!!

LOL, on that note, once while I was at the dog park there was a lady I ended up talking to that had a dog that . . . I shit you not . . . looked exactly like a smaller version of Sesshoumaru in demon form. As soon as I saw the dog I went hunting for the owner to strike up conversation. Hell, I even jokingly offered to buy the dog! Of course I was politely refused, even if she knew it was in jest (at least she thought so, I wouldn't have mined much if she agreed, lol), but I couldn't help a small ounce of disappointment. This dog was CUTE! Would have been my own personal 'Fluffy'.

I personally think if Sesshoumaru was a certain dog breed, it would be the Borzoi.
They come in all kids of colors other than white, but I found a pic of a white one show you what i mean

Ooh, I'd never thought of the borzoi breed before, but you're right! It has that slim, long-legged look that Sesshoumaru has, complete with the big floofy tail. If the ears were a little bigger it'd be dead-on (perhaps a borzoi/cocker spanial cross? XD ).

I forgot precisely where, but I read somewhere that Rumiko Takahashi based Sesshoumaru off of the Akita. Looks a lot like the Shiba Inu, don't they? Both Japanese dogs anyway

Ooooh, I just love all the white doggies! They're all so cute!! I want to pet them all.

When I first saw Sesshoumaru in his true form, though, I kind of thought he looked like a big, white labrador.



I mean look at him. Make him a little fluffier and you so have a mini-Sesshoumaru on your hands. Or at least in my opinion.

Ohh! That new picture of the Borzoi does look more grand!

Aha! I think when Tally Mark draws her doggy Sesshoumaru, it looks more like a Labrador/Retriever. Those two do look very similar in appearance!
