Well, since this thread got started up again . . . I started making jewelry, a hobby that I practice off-and-on. This past year, I was actually a jewelry instructor at one of the craft stores near me, but that didn't turn out too well. Anyways, here's a couple of projects that I created during that time that I thought turned out really well.
The earrings were based off of a design that I saw on Pinterest. |

They turned out to be pretty easy to make, but it took a few rough starts before I figured out the best method and which gauge wire worked best. One of these days, I may have to write up some step-by-step instructions.

Thank you. I'm really picky about the jewelry I wear, too. I usually go for things that are simple and won't aggravate me while I'm wearing them. I love some pieces I see that are huge and ornate, but I can never see myself wearing them.

After several attempts at showing off pictures, I finally was able to link to DA!
Recently I've been decorating candle holders with tissue paper (also some paint and glitter)

WOW!!! I didn't even know this was possible! I love how you can design the candles in such detail! The fairytale candle holder is sooooo cute!!! ....but all of them are of course so wonderful and creative!! Make sure to post the rest of your collection! They look awesome!
