I am absolutely blown away by your work. Your methods of depicting each era is captivating. You paint brilliant pictures with your every word. It is as if I am watching a japanese supernatural, historical film. You give your readers facts coupled with the alluring aspects of fantasy. This is beautifully written. I look forward to your next update.

I have to say once again: I'm hooked.

I'm still trying to recoup from the emotional twist and turns from The Hime Tradition. NOW I have to contend with this one.

But I will endure. I applaud you for your ability to maintain true to the identity of each character. Sesshoumaru, once again, cold and calculating like a true leader but as a segment of years past, slowly easing into his emotions (especially with Kagome). That is what I liked most about your 'Hime' story.

With this story, there was already respect. Now, you are building from that. Great

Of course, Kagome's stubbornness is still there but so is her caring attitude. Hate what she is going through right now, especially emotionally. Plus, I hate that she feels that she doesn't deserve to be happy. She really needs to get over that. But, I think all of these twist and turns with the characters and their physical and mental warfare is what makes this story realistic in its delivery.

All and all, I think you are working on another winner.

How will Sesshoumaru find her now?!?! The water will hide her scent and all will just think that she died and maybe even sank. No! I guess she will just have to rescue herself, but poor Sesshoumaru for what he will go through. Quite the twist. I can't wait to see what happens next :)

I have to agree with Marie's review and please wait for the 20th century for Sess/Kags to get together and not have him settle for Hisa with pups. I know you can do this. It would be lovely if Kagome can produce full blooded pups albeit a little over done but for this story, please. They have waited this long for each other a few more decades should be a drop in the bucket. I am not much of a history buff but oviously you are and it is your story and I am a big fan of yours *blinks eyes* and I am on the proverbial knees begging to make this a happy ending. *winks again*. All winking aside, this was a nice but sad chapter. You are my most excellent and favourite writer. Fantastic job!
