Still interested in reading more. I like the ranks introduced. I'm curious how this will play out once Sesshoumaru comes into the scene, and if he's any different to Kagome off the bat, or if it's gradual. I'm curious in the end if Kagome can at least keep her promise to keep InuYasha from being so disrespected in the future as obviously this is a Sess/Kag.

Lol poor Kagome. It always - always - starts off with her wanting to help a friend then it blows up to something out of control and she always needs help or rescuing! lol...

Will Shippo go with her? I wonder where Rin is (will you keep to the original anime that Rin is in the village or with Sesshomaru?).

I also wonder, if Inu says that Kagome's humanity would be overlooked because of her status of the Shikon Miko, what about Rin?

Oh wow since it is you I was already anticipating that this new story of yours was going to be awesome...but I didn't think I would be THIS excited for it after reading the first chapter. Leave it to you to come up with an interesting plotline!

The 'hime' tradition is fascinating. I can't wait to read and learn more about it in detail because it reminds me of the kind of cliche 'demoness competition' a lot of fanfiction writers got going on for Inuyasha but you've sort of taken that and twisted it into your own unique idea. And oh my I learned something new from you! I thought 'hime' had always meant princess this entire time. As usual you surprise me and do the unexpected. When Sesshoumaru said "Your time is up, Inuyasha." I was like LOL...because he just left and said or did nothing else. I was expected the usual sibling violence and rivalry to occur so I was a bit taken off guard there. Honestly I was expecting Sesshoumaru to kill Inuyasha right then and there.

Also, I love that you have made Kagome automatically have an elevated status in youkai society because of her being the Shikon Miko and because she was instrumental in Naraku's defeat! I'm used to reading stories where Kagome gets a small amount of respect for that but still has to overal earn her respect steadily amongst youkai in society and overcome the fact that she is human; in the story her feats and power speaks for itself already and I admire the fact that you're doing something a little different. Inuyasha as a prince is nothing new however the whole "200 year to find supreme power" rule is and that certainly piqued my interest.

Anyway I totally cannot wait for this story to progress further! I can't wait until this hime competition starts and I am anticipating to see how you portray youkai society and all of the different statuses and ranks and whatnot. And if there is any main adversary to look out for I'm also anticipating what kind of antagonist you create this time hehe. This story seems very promising and I'm just pleased I am with it from the start and can watch as it progresses every step of the way.

It's still to early to really comprehend but so far the story is very intresting. Looking forward to your progress.
