I'm digging on the story.  I love how intelligent Kagome is.  I knew Sess would be listening.  Can't wait for another update!

I can understand going out in the world and learning on your own - but if you are a high ranking youkai or demoness, and if you had armies wouldn't a demoness learn from them? She could question them on their travels and battles and learn more about the world. Also, what if the parents taught their daughters what they knew of the world or sent for scholars (or Mu) and had them also teach their daughters? Wouldn't the parents wish to help their daughter(s) learn as much as possible to earn the role of Hime?

What about learning from the current Hime? Perhaps some higher ranking demoness could convince the current Hime to teach them and they could also learn?

I'm very curious at how Sesshomaru will take all of this though. He seems to be eavesdropping a lot - which I can understand. Knowledge is power, but I wonder if he knows about what Kagome plans (i.e. to become Hime and mate Inu just so he will have a place in the youkai society)? If so, will he purposely derail those plans just because he may think Inu shouldn't have a place? Or will Sess truly want Kagome for himself since she is very unique?

In the Hime competition, could a demoness challenge and kill another female that received the honor of Hime? And how is it agreed upon? Afterall, I'm sure the parents want their own daughers to be Hime so regardless, they would not approve of anyone else. Oh and another question - can a demoness with the title of Hime earn it again every 10 centuries? Like could the mate of Inu's father become Hime again?

Kagome being so observant rocks!!! You've put some thought into this, way to go!! But how will Inuyasha react when Sesshoumaru shows an interest in Kagome, and what will the other demon's think too? Will Kagome win them over like she has her own demonic allies, or will she need to be kidnapped first? (Not to put any ideas in your head!!!! But just wondering...) =D

Sesshomaru you sneaky son of an Inu (lol) I wonder why would he be spying on kags and InuYasha (well, is not completely clear who this "shadow" figure is, but I'll asume it is Sesshy ) I cant wait for things to unfold, looking forward to next chapter!!! =]

Guess Inari wasn't the successful one this time, :p. I hope the next chapter is also so funny. Although the story took me what longer to read for the emberasing parts, but still I really liked it. I'm feeling really sorry for Inuyasha....... :D I will be waitng for the next chapter.

But what about her human life span - or will she live longer? If the title of hime is every 10 centuries, would she even be able to compete? Because if she died, there wouldn't be another Hime for many more centuries.

I'm also curious to how Sesshomaru will respond to this too.
