I usually can't stand drabbles. They tend to be engaging enough in the beginning, but as the story comes to a close I find myself skipping chunks of texts to get back on track of the story. This one was different. The way the dialog was written was engaging enough to force the reader to slow down and digest the stories the characters told.

I will say though that the ending was very abrupt. Where's Toga and did he ever hook with with Kag's mom? How many children do Inu and Kikyo have? I remembeer in an earlier chapter, right after Kikyo said Inu had a vasectomy, Toga mentioned his two sons and his granddaughter, and the chapter after that Sess is holding a neice. So, there were some inconsistencies and I think the ending wasn't wrapped up too nicely. Still, the story was original and you didn't portray Sess' mother as some cold-hearted b**** who deserved infidelity. Thank goodness, because her character is so maligned by this fandom (with Inupapa having near-god status). 

Thank you for writing and completing this wonderful, amazing story. I enjoyed every twist and turn, until finally the ending which was as bittersweet as the title.  Many thanks again!

This story is  literally amazing. It is one of the most well written, well thought out collections I've seen on here.  I really hope you continue this particular arc.   I know I'd love to find out what happens after but if you don't it's still one of the best stories I've  read in a long time.    I'm thinking  I could content myself to read any of your other stories if they're even half as good as this.   I know I'm gushing at this point but I don't care.  I'm more of a lurker and it's rare for me to feel the need to review so please take this as the highest compliment I can offer.  ^.~

Yay for happiness! Sesshoumaru was putting a lot of faith in her to not just shut him out of her and their babies' lives. Luckily it paid off, like waiting for you to come back and keep the story going. I can't wait to see what happens next and for their happily ever after :)  

Omg, you updated. rl has been/ IS crazy and I havent been on here for some time as well. I just came back a few weeks ago And remembered how much I enjoy S/K and miss it. I'm glad you are writing again.

personally, I think sess and Kag have been put through the ringer already. I mean, talk about a roller coaster. I'd love to see them finally get a real chance at happiness as a couple, more development there please. Then I'd love to see their interactions as a family with the kiddos and all of the other interlopers (extended family). The only thing I'm unsure about is this new evil that is coming...the set up was so big that to not address it will make it feel incomplete. I'm sure you'll make it great though.
