Love it

I really enjoyed your story. The pacing is good and the storyline is amazing and original. I love how you detailed you are about their emotions and keeping them as close to in character as possible. It's good to see the consistency. I just have some issues, I guess. Kagome kind of annoys me. She has no understanding of the situation and I can't help but be just as frustrated with her as I am with Sesshomaru. Kagome, at times, just seems obstinate for no reason. She constantly misdirects her anger and blames Sesshomaru and refuses to take some responsibility for the things that are happening around her. For example, Sesshomaru warned her on numerous occasions, that demons will be after her constantly, not just for the jewel, but the power she holds as well and yet, in her inner monologue in the forest, she immediately thinks they are after the jewel and it had nothing to do with her, even after the forest demon's attack. She's eighteen, for christ sakes!! She should be able to put two and two together, but it may just be her low self-confidence (which was caused by repeated berating from Inuyasha, but we are just going to conveniently over look that) She's so prudish, it just rubs me wrong. I know that she's young, but she can't be this naive. She grew up in modern times, she must be aware of her body to some extent, right? Her immaturity just kind of frustrates me, but I understand too because I was once that age too and everything is always more extreme. Also I feel like Kagome almost betrayed her friends' to some extent by not being more frightened of Inuyasha. It's almost like she's in an abusive relationship. She's numb to the pain he causes and allows him to continue because she "loves" him. It's slightly disturbing how much she lacked empathy for them because she is so caught up in how it effects her, not so much as the group whole. She mentions how it will throw the group dynamic off, but more from the side of how it will be awkward for her and Inuyasha, not so much about terrified and frightened her friends' must be after they were literally just ripped to shreds, but admittedly Kagome does have hella lot on her plate. And that's another point, I can't condone what just happened in the last chapter. I just can't connect Sesshomaru losing his temper and slapping her after all this time. It just felt out of place, maybe if he had been more prone to physical disipline earlier, than  it would have been less of a shock. I just don't see how Kagome will ever trust him now, even if he does have some type of magical enlightenment, I wouldn't want Kagome and Sesshomaru together knowing he was capable of physical violence against her. I just can't condone it. But these are my quirks. You have a lot of wonderful stuff going on in the story and I do it enjoy the realistic slow pace of it all and how they are so relunctant to give in to their feelings so fast. You've done wonderful job of creating a unique world with laws and rules that fit and justify all their actions. I just had a few qualms about some of it as a reader. For your first fanfiction, this is absolutely fantastic, so keep at it. Just keep some of these things in mind or not, if  you don't agree with them. This is your story and you have right to do as you please with your characters, but as a reader, I have do have the right to critique. Just how the relationship works. Just keep doing it and keep improving.

well it its a long time.  i just wonder if yoj ever are going to finished such a good story.  welcome back.  hope hear more aout the story and more...

While I do feel a bit for Sesshomaru he's ben an abusive and disrespectful a$$. Kagome's attitude is reflecting his - the more demanding, disrespectful, and the more he tries to force a physical connection between them, the more definat Kagome gets. Has he ever thought that even if she did have a pup or pups, she'd turn them against him (not spitefully but telling her pups how not to be like him as he is so cruel and such)??? or if he continues on, he may snuff out her pure light and hope....and if she is hopeless and depressed, especially pregnant, she may take her life? or even lose her miko abilities because her light is out?

Perhaps the old wise tree can talk some sense into Sesshomaru. Maybe Sesshomaru will even think about getting someone to teach Kagome the ways of the youkai....this way it can be a compromise. She learns more about his culture and he tries to learn a bit about hers or maybe let her kit come live with them and she can visit her friends. Losing her friends would be a devestating blow especially Shippo.

I've just started reading this. This chapter is a hoot! I found myself literally chuckling loudly at 1:35 am, startling my poor dogs and one cat. Sesshomaru's antics with his demands of, take me to your homeland for a week or we mate right here was hilarious. Then his murmuring in disappointment that she gave in to bringing him home instead of matimg him was priceless lololololol. Her, "What?" Hahahahaha, such hilarity. I'm enjoying how this plot has developed. I cannot wait to read what in the hell is going to happen with the Lord of the West in a time full of humans. This is going to be good. 

I like how you  depicted the emotionally constipated  sesshoumaru. well done.  Next chapter please

Sesshomaru is in complete denial about his feelings for her...or maybe he just doesn't know what feeling are?

Like in so many other fanfictions Kagome and Sesshomaru's romance is not rushed, but it is shown in progressive states. In this Sesshomaru isn't automatically fawning over Kagome nor she, he. 

This fanfiction is rather refreshing.
