I wouldn't have asked if I could touch it.  I would have done it anyway...it would be worth losing a hand over. LOL  The funniest was the short and sweet 'NO' she got in reply.  I could see that scene so clearly. :-)

Loved the begining of the chapter... but the "Can I touch it?"  "No."  Had me snort.  I could so see Kagome clasping her hands together and giving the puppy eyes with that question. :P

Can't wait to see what the baby gets into.  Is it a girl?  Sometimes the munchkin was referred to has a he, so I just want to be sure... or maybe I read it wrong. (been a long day)  I can just see a little toddler running around the castle, hiding Uncle Sessez furry tail from him, or outright refusing to sleep without it. After all, every baby needs a blankie. XD  *Picturing little toddler, thumb in mouth, hugging Sesshoumaru's fur as she and Sess glare at each other in a tug-of-war with it*

this was a good chapter but I'm confused about the egg hatching & you didn't tell us what the hatchling looked like,it's mother was human & if the egg is no more than does that change Kagome's role???

I liked this chapter.It gave some insight into Sessh's childhood & one reason why/how he uses his unemotional mask.  So his mom is alive & his god-mother is a void demon?? whenever I picture void demons I think of Kanna,but she's not a true void demon is she??? she's an incarnate of Naraku,a being made from Naraku's cast off youkai after he's done remaking his newest (in his crazy mind) most perfect form....he's so vain...even when he tried to get rid of Onigumo's heart & he tore out the part of himself that contained the heart of Onigumo,the part he tore out had no face or identity & wasn't happy till it found a face he felt was the most physically attractive.

"Kagome blinked at him innocently. “Do I have to shout out something too?”" Awesome...Then...the lesson, Gin , I am impressed!

LOL I HOPE Kagome isn't like Inuyasha.  Can you see her roaming around the counryside screaming attacks at innocent trees?! ROFL  I know that in the anime, Sesshomaru says his "Dragon Strike" attack, but he barely says it.  He doesn't scream it at the top of his lungs.  Inuyasha thinks that the louder he gets, the more wind he puts into the Wind Scar!!  Inuyasha's an idiot! LOL

Yup!!  This story is STILL excellent!  I'm so Un-surprised.  I knew this story was good from chapter 1.  Keep up the GREAT work!!

So far I have to say I'm enthralled with the story. You set a captivating tale, and I find the flow of it very nice.

I'm seeing mixed signals that could become a pet peeve of mine, but I'm going to watch and see where your hints lean more towards before I ask or make a comment on it and start pouting.

Your OC's seem well characterized and I love how you blended them so naturally into the story.

Shippo's character makes me smile. <3 He's a growing young boy, who Loves and tries to take care of his surrogate mother.

He does seem to fade into the background a lot more then I think you mean him to, at least from how I'm reading it. (which really could just be me)

Thats all I think I wanted to comment on so far. I'm excited for more, but school is always a priority. So no pressure on speeding up posting the next chapters <3

I think I fell in love with the new character: “She is powerful, beautiful, smart, and the most important,” Isamu said the last word with a wide smirk, “available.” 

Yooooohoooo....did I tell you how much I enjoyed Kagome in this chapter when trying to talk the servants into letting her work than that discussion with Sesshoumaru evaded the argument...Bloody fantastic!

I am dying to see what happens next....

I loved this one ...it was hysterical...but you didn't tell us if Ryuichi woke up & saw Kagome or if she was able to help him even a little

I remember in the begininning there was only 2 monks,1 priestesses & a large demon that was considered a fortune teller with the dragon egg thieves. I can't help but wonder if Kagome changed in any ways other that her eyes?? did her hair get longer or did she get any markings?? are we going to find out more about her powers & what does Shippo have to say since his last outburst of not letting her take on another quest that leaves her alone,lonely & forgotten...She's immortal now & some kind of powerful Miko + youkai...Shippo has to be wondering if she'll be around so long now..she could never mate a human...what would happen if she mated a youkai &  what youkai would be powerful enough of her??? poor Shippo worrying about his mom...he should talk to Sessh & find out his opinion..Sessh was there with the Immortal priestess before she gave Kagome her powers but Shippo was there when Kagome saw the seer

I can't wait for the next chapter..... 

I'm dying to know what is going to happen now   & boy is Shippo angry...I have so many  questions now
