so was the 'future man' or evil demon that convinced the holy dudes a giant naked mole rat or a manatee?? I'm so confused about what type of demon he is & I'm confused about how an elemental demon can manipulate both nature & human elements?? and would it be all nature elements or just one like air,water,earth or fire...cause it seemed as if this demon did not want to be on dry land for any reason so it would seem that because of his desperate desire to stay near or in the water that the only nature element he could manipulate was water..but I do have a question & that is what is a human element or does it just mean he can use illusions,spells or charms to confuse the humans into thinking he was human..I'm also worried that while Ryuichi was causing trouble he was really just trying to distract his allies that saved his ass & the egg,I mean Kagome literally personally saved him from deaths door ,he was so close to death by the time she got to him the egg or the hatchling wouldn't have saved him & the only thing that saved him was Kagome using her own energy to touch him & force her energy/power into him. If he was just stalling so while they were out fighting the other dragons could sneak into the castle & steal the hatchling I hope he realizes that while he was fighting Sessh saved him from getting killed cause he wasn't strong enough to take on the demon 'future man' & by causing his diversion, Kagome ,the one who risked her life for his quest,saved the egg his people lost,healed it, saved him from deaths door & with his fight with Sessh Kagome was left to watch their backs & had to fight the 'future man ' demon by herself & if he was too strong for one of them to kill then it's a miracle Kagome survived & by the time they get her to the castle god only knows what kind of condition she'll be in. I just hope that when he catches up to the ones who took the hatchling that he sees that the hatchling is sick & dying ,& the dragons who took the hatchling are  weak & dying & he'll remember when Kagome told him specifically that the goddess, Izanami told her she/Kagome was to care for the hatchling & if it was taken from her it would die & so would the dragons.

I can't wait for the next chapter

*bug eyed* go Kagome.... Stupid Dragon butt... if he hadn't gotten in the way... *sighs* oh well... At least Kags can't die now! Good timing Goddess Lady!! Hope Teh Baby Won't throw a hissy now that mommy got hurt... O-o....

I'm dying to know what Kagome will name the baby dragon..she sure is taking her time...is there a japanese word for hope,miracle or something similar...I was thinking something like one of those would make a perfect name for her, I mean she was within the egg for more than 1,000 yrs or so. I just hope she has a connection to Kagome so that they can find each other no matter how far from each other they are. I loved it when she got the egg ,wrapped a sweater around it , put the piece from her necklace on it & held it close to her & surrounded the egg with her power & then saw the fragment & all the small cracks & lines heal until the egg was perfect.....& then it suddenly started to shake & crack & she started yelling to Shippo that she broke it & Shippo tried to calm her down telling her it's not broken ..Its Hatching & then she really started to panic.Then when Sessh got there & killed the monk & they finished hatching the egg & Sessh then went to touch the staff & Kagome said don't touch the staff I'll get it in a second & then-

 Sesshoumaru turned around and was almost forced to get on his knees again.

It was almost like a painting. The way the sun broke through the trees and on to Kagome. Her black tresses shining in the light. Her amathyst eyes staring down at the baby she held in her eyes with a maternal smile on her face. She is the prophecy. She is maternal to all things, Sesshoumaru thought out instantly.

the sentence & the paragraph above were taken right from the story...& the part I don't understand is the part where Sessh thought in his head..."She is the prophecy. She is maternal to all things" what prophecy is he talking about here...it's not the one about carrying the egg. The prophecy regarding the one who could hold the egg was not so intense,& is probably why so many beings over time had been able to hold carry & watch over the egg. So the prophecy that Sessh is referring to must be something else...

It seemed,especially from his intense reaction as soon as he turned to her & his eyes had only just glanced upon her(....and was almost forced to get on his knees),that his instantaneous recognition of 'who she was & what she represented', that the prophecy he was referring to was very important & in an all encompassing way....it was as if he was in awe of who she really was.....

I can't wait to read the next chapter & I hope his god-mother goes to the castle & we find out more about his mom...I also hope Izanami talks more to Kagome ,Sessh (& maybe his mom & god mother) you know at least to Sessh...remind him of what he realized when he saw her with hatchling &  his inner demons importance in choosing a mate that will birth powerful heirs & remind him that Kagome more than a priestess with youkai & holy powers that is also immortal...but she also has the power of a Kami within her & basically tell him if thats not enough to convince him he should go for her than tell him to remember as her Guardian & her being immortal,she will be with him in the castle for a very long time...............& everyday that passes as you keep telling everyone you have no interest in her as a mate ,you must remember that each of the males that ask what your intentions towards her are & even the ones that don't ask but listen to your response , are only asking you to clarify that you have no interest in her & that means it is okay for any or all of them to go after her........she is beautiful,amazing & one of a kind & after being forgotten once,her fear of being alone forever............the males around you are not dumb & before they ask to court her or get to know her they will openly tell her they've spoken to you & you've already made it clear that you have no interest in her......& you know how hurt Kagome was over being forgotten & she's already aware that she's growing feelings for you & she feels you dislike her as it is & not wanting to get hurt again,she's already trying to talk herself into looking at you as an unavailable male & knows you will soon be looking for a Mate to have an heir, she'll start distancing herself from you very soon...I'm telling you this as a Kami & one who knows alot & I'm telling you that if you are okay with her,living here & finding a Mate that isn't you & seeing her with him & giving him a powerful heir than do what you choose.....but decide soon,she was left behind once & her 1st instinct now is to protect her heart & not end up alone............when I asked her about her feelings for you & mentioned you'd need a mate soon,she said that she understood & would start keeping a distance asap,then ran out to find Shippo,the hatchling & Ryuichi.

This is a great chapter--so much unresolved sexual tension.

Wow that was a chapter finally a kiss from the mighty Sesshomaru hopefully the two get together before its too late.  Now I'm weary of what Ryuichi is going to do.  I know he'll plan to kidnap the baby dragon perhaps take Kagome along with him....   Can you imagine the fury of one girl let alone a possessive dog.   Hell that's one way to force Sesshomaru's bite....  LOL...  Sorry got carried away.  Anyways I love the fic it has everything a person can want danger, romance, action, adventure and so on.  Oh before I forget please don't take this as a flamer but some of the words are incomplete or mis-spelled is that even right?  I just wanted you to know.  Update soon.

I'm glad they finally found the egg.  I do have a question though.  Is the baby a boy or girl?  You have made reference to both in this chapter and I'm curious.
