i skipped over this story for a long time because i saw how many chapters there were. now im glad i decided to read it. i started on a monday and finished early on a sunday morning, like 3:44am. this story had me going up and down with my emotions. this, by far, was the BEST portryal of sesshoumaru and kagome that ive ever read. it touched me on a personal level. the only difference is that she had someone to help her and i had to do it alone. i LOVED the ending. i was glad that she got it and i was glad for sesshy too. this story was WONDERFUL, EMOTIONAL, and BEAUTIFUL. its on my "favorites" list. keep writing cause you're good at it. c'ya'

this has to be one of the best stories I have ever read! I really couldn't put it down. 

I could say a million things to describe how much I absolutely admire this story, but words don't feel like enough... What do I even read after this??? I started reading Blood Stained when you first started it, and recently re-discovered it, and I have to say I'm blown away at how amazing the story line was. I couldn't stop until I read it all! This was by far one of my favorite portrayals of Kagome and Sesshoumaru, and their characters evoke so much emotion from start to finish. This was the perfect mix of angst and romance and darkness and everything a story needs. AH, I can't wait to read your next :)

This was the most passionate story I have ever read! So at first when Kagome was going through all that crap,at the beginning. I was so depressed and angry at Sesshomaru.  I was screaming at my kindle how heartless can you be! Then on the other hand I understood the reason why his beast was so rough on her. That was how it was back then, girls didn't have much of a say in what they wanted. If they were told to marry or mate someone they couldn't say "aww, I don't want to marry this man!". It was yes your marrying him of you like it or not. Women in those days were no more than property. So I get where Sesshomaru is coming from,but I also get where Kagome is coming from. She came from a world that she had freedom to make her own choices. To say it was a big difference in cultures would be an understatement. Saying that, it would explain why she was so upset but the whole situation and how it almost tore her apart. I think you did brilliant job with her emotions, it felt extremely realistic. The way you told the story about a Miko and a Demon that are destined to be together by fate but struggle against it until the end. It captured my heart. Lol I had so many conflicting emotions with this story. It was driving me crazy! I also loved Kouga's personality in this story! I died laughing when he started teasing Sesshomaru! The fiery passion that with story held was overwhelming, I was overjoyed when it came to the end and it turned out happy. Normally I don't read stories this long because the writer loses my attention because the plot doesn't stay strong. But this story kept me on my toes the entire time.  Thank you for writing this!!!!!  Domo Arigato author-san! 

One week, one long sleepless week... I could not stop reading this! I laughed, cried, and screamed at my screen reading this fic, it was absolutely stellar!

Wow! I didint expect that. So Kiyoshi's human? with miko powers?  No youkai or Hanyou? Its interesting

He wants to earn her forgivness...YET HE PLANS TO TAKE HER CHILD AWAY!!!!!!!!! i have a feeling this guy is NEVER going to really fall in love with kagome. sigh

I really hope she has a Hanyou. I hate it when people make Kagome have a full youkai child. Sjhe is humna, she is going to have a hanyou, get over it people. Anyway...despite all the rape (shudder) the story is quite interesting. Ill be looking foreward to the day sess finally comes to care for her...he will one day care about her...wont he... ... ...please

I dont usually leave reviews but i must say, spelling and grammatical errors aside, the development of the story is amazing. I love how you made Rin and Kagome related. And the new plot with the jewel is also imaginative. I lke your work. i hope you update some of your other stories soon.

Thank you for this story! I'm so glad that the darkness in the beginning wrapped up to deliver the happy ending! Both characters have changed so much from beginning to end and you've written it really well and realistically. It's hard to say goodbye to such a good fic like this but what I wouldn't give to see new chappies for your other fics! :3
