Okies. So I can't remember what chapter it was in, but I love the comparison you made between the beast and Kikyo. That was a good way to open up the door for her to see him.

Which brings me to the beast. I've pretty much wanted to beat him with a stick for the entirity of this fic. I'm glad he finally sees he hurt her, but I'm wondering what it's going to take for him to actually understand and feel remorse. His mentality seems like a stubborn as hell 5 year old. He only sees his way. But, the same could be said for Kagome in that sense, because she refuses to understand that in the past he was acting in the only way he knew. That doesn't necessarily excuse what he did, but she needs to be a little more forgiving because he really didn't know any better.

I liked the closeness they got while on searching for the shards. It was good for her to get past some of the bad and move on. I wonder how long it will take for her to move past the beast, and what it will take for that to happen.

I'm also wondering what's going to happen when they get back to Japan. Momma H is going to have a bit of a conniption I think. I can't really see her being horrible to anyone, but really this is a sticky situation. Last she knew, her daughter was a broken shell terrified of Sesshomaru. Now she wants to be with him. Though I did notice she has yet to tell him she loves him back. Which I suppose is because for that to be true she has to love his whole self, not just a piece.

Kouga being there I think is a good thing too, though at times I want to beat him with a stick too. I'm glad he's gotten over his infatuation with Kagome, and I have a feeling he is going to end up with Kai. XD Then when his babehs are full demon he's gonna rub it in Sessh's face just to be an ass. Lmao! Not that Sessh cares anymore but still. -giggle-

Kiyoshi I think is going to prove the doctor wrong in all ways. I think he is two people kinda like his father. Half pure, half demonic and all powerful. I'm interested to see what will happen with him, and I wonder if his powers are going to have to be sealed for awhile until he gets old enough to control them. At least in public lol.

As for Sesshomaru himself, he really needs to hash stuff out with his beast. If he can't learn to like himself, how can he expect Kagome to? And honestly, I dont think she would like him as just human. Evil beastie or not, she likes demon Sessh better. So I hope he works himself out soon. I'm ready for them to move on and get to business. ^_~ Hehe.

Overall I really liked this story. There were a few mistakes in every chapter, but nothing big enough to put me off, which is rare now days. The plot I like, and the story itself is good. At first I was a bit weary because I just find it very hard to believe someone could ever fall in love with their rapist. But the way this was told, I am craving it for these two. Even after everything that happened in the past, looking at everything that happened in the present I can't help but want them to be happy together. I hope it happens soon! DX And I can't remember if I asked you about a happy ending. I expect an answer to that though when you read this. >_>

Hey my fellow butterscotch supporter! I'm SO so sorry I didn't review last night like I SWORE I would do. My son decided to try my patience and had me awake well past 2am. lil stinker. He's 5 months old now and SHOULD be going to bed for me. Too bad they can't all be as easy as Kiyoshi!

And as you already, know I LOVED the update.

I'm so glad there is more with the beast. Of course he's been horrible, but you've written him in a way where its not black and white if he's good or bad. I know he did horrible things, but to me I always interpreted him as almost childlike. He's single minded and selfish but although his actions have caused pain and harm he hasn't MEANT any ill-will (at least in respect to Kagome) The proverb which fits this story best is "you hurt the ones you love, the most."

Its a thought provoking story. It forces us to consider intent, and social acceptance of certain behavior when considering the person themselves as if they are good or bad. It shows that just because someone does something bad, it doesn't mean they themselves are bad. After all, he was TRYING to show his love, give her what she wanted, make her happy, honor her... of course that doesn't make the actions any more right, especially to Kagome, a 21st century gal.

It was so great when Kagome told Sesshomaru that she was scared. I kept telling my computer screen "take his hand. tell him you're scared. Be honest!" of course then she did! It was awesome!

And I couldn't stop giggling about the hug scene. I mean poor Sesshomaru! lol It was just sorta like "oh, what now?! this?! seriously?!" I could almost picture him havng an internal temper tanturm and stomping his feet. lol

I cannot WAIT to see what comes next for them. I'm sure there are some rough times ahead still. hopefuly (and just personal preference here) we'll see some more interaction between the beast and kagome so they come to understand one another a little better before they merge

Plus how wonderful that the beast finally gets to see the son he created with the woman he loves. I thought that was the saddest part of everything, was Kioshi wanting to bond with him (both sides of Sesshomaru) but then him running. I got why the beast would do it, but of course being a mom my thoughts went right to the baby involved.

Keep up the awesome work! I can't wait for more! :)

Oh! So sad, I hope they can get better. And --*grins*--Daniella works with my obssession to hypens lol

I'm so glad they are finally trying to make it work. I also really like the role Koga plays in this story. Most fics have him in a cameo to make Sess jealous, but I am glad he's stuck around in yours. He's always been one of my favorite characters.

I even let a few teardrops fell... It was amazing, couldnt be better explained, I love that the beast opened his heart and talked everything he felt. I'm so happy that she decided to follow him even when now I'm a little worried for her, he is a youkai and with all that heavy rain and stress, she might get sick :/

I really want to read what is next, even how they get from the alley to the hotel or wherever they go. Everything!!!

Normally I get bored of stories when I learn they are this long, but you have managed to keep my interest. So my question for you is...when is chapter 74 coming out? I can't wait

 I must say I am impressed by the fast past this story has begun to take. For this chapter I thought it was excellent. I truly felt where the beast was coming from. However I do think Kagome is being selfish by not truly seeing the beast side of the story, but yet I can't fault her for not trying either.

Awsome chapter, Sorry I haven't been reviewing like I want to, but that doens't mean I stopped reading. I love your writing since you always seem to clean up the lose ends in cetain areas.My curosity for the child is becoming more and more exicting.

What I love about this piece is the slow pace that it has. I am glad this is not another story where Kagome forgives Sesshomaru so quickly after begin brutaly raped by him. It is exciting to see her grow from her pain from the past slowing but with determentation and a since of duty. You truly make the characters come alive inside my imagination.
