I love the "full circle" you've got going here. The son has now established the roll his mother once did. Now we just have to see if he can fulfill it. How HORRIBLE is it that her wish has forced this upon her own son?! Thats truly a tragedy and certainly a punishment for the misuse of the stone - even if not in such an obvious way but rather in a very clever way. I love that! And i hate it.... because I'm a mum and we always worry our kids will suffer for our shortcomings.
