So far I like the story you've written. You really paint a detailed picture on the emotions Kagome feels towards other characters, and the environment and stressful situations she encounters. Very detailed, and I think thats awesome. The way you write about Kagome's struggle with her self doubt and self loathing is great! How she knows he's grown to being a woman but yet still doubts herself in many different aspects. That she resents having to depend on Inuyasha. You develope the character very well, thats not an easy thing for an author to do. Character growth takes atleast more then two chapters and you'll already have done that in just one chapter. I'm very impressed. I also like the relationship between the mother and daughter. on the show you see that, but you go into great detail on both of the characters. Cant wait to read more!!:)
@_@ what a situation! go kagome for getting that out there!
good reasons, not the best, he's just like inuyasha, only sees Rin in her, as Inu saw Kikyo. :[ sees that he did stuff that was wrong, or might have been wrong to her mind, but still... *makes noncommital noise*
okay, just sitting down and reading like i am, with no space for updates, in chapter 25, he really was rather much still an asshat, though in 26 he does seem to have SOME care and SOME feeling, just not lots. it's more long the lines that if this had happened to my Rin, wi would have murdered myself violently, and taking joy in doing it. so he knows he's done wrong.
I feel damn near miserable for kagome, only a few days less then a week since inuyasha died, still awesome death btw, and getting back from her rapist mate, and she's forced into this again. Part of me kinda hopes she has the kid first. Preggy females shouldnt be off and bout doing things like shikon hunting...
DUDE! Sesshomaru's a bastard after all this time doesnt feel a DAMN THING AND AND he still feels like he's in the right. how EFed up is he?!?!
O_O okay so I'm re-reading at this point and this was a new chapter for me! I was reading when you first started but gah, gotta tellyou at the time i couldnt keep up with reading so many updates! one of the reasons i do adore your writing is that you get into it and update like nothing i'd ever seen. POINT IS, HOLY CRAP best inuyasha death scene ever, b/c seriously i was all D: !!! Now, keep in mind i am not the biggest IY character, fan there is so i was all WOW. yusssssssssssss
Pebbles (Chapter 76) - Sat 02 Jul 2011
Heh, gotta love Kouga and his 2 cents. He makes for a good distraction for Sesshomaru, someone he can put his frustrations on. And someone who is still capable of dropping some knowledge on the two of them!
Oh yeah, last chapter's events definitely was the 'catalyst' for this!! lol That was exciting. The buildup was true to their personalities. The awkwardness of the both was just so endearing. It suited that scene. The hot n heavy was totally unexpected. I honestly thought there would be something to yield it earlier than it had. That was like a treat! You give treats! That is awesome. lol
I have a hunch. K, just a hunch of mine: That 'voice' he heard. Why exactly would it be the makings of his Beast? Why not from their bond? Because, it's happened before. Different things have occurred here and there because of that bond. Like the moment when they all went out as a family together, or when she 'heard' her name being called and knew where to find Sesshomaru at a place she did not know of. Cause they're still in a foreign country where she wouldn't know where to go. Unexplained but expected reactions of having a simple bond. That's what I'm thinking. She had those thoughts deep inside her and voicing the feeling to him. That's my hunch.
And I can NOT WAIT to see what's coming next. Oh, you thought your harrassment from readers was something before.... lol
Pebbles (Chapter 75) - Sat 02 Jul 2011
This was all over the place. So much was going on at once and it feels like the header for what's to come. You touched on several different things at once, which is difficult to do. The first part, I actually went back to the last chapter and thought 'did I miss something?!' lol I love how that played out.
Kiyoshi is still a big mystery. I'm glad that you're reminding your readers of his potential to effect what's to come. He most definitely plays a bigger role. No doubt about it.
Thank you, also, for adding that her powers are still a factor. Because of what happened with the jewel, there's more to her than ever now. This untapped power is going to be major.
Pebbles (Chapter 73) - Sat 02 Jul 2011
I've already read past this but I just had to comment on this...
"Yes! Yes! This is what I was waiting for!!" was my original reaction to this chapter. I've been waiting for his return, and his chance to explain what happened. The chance to hear HIS side. We all knew where Kagome was coming from However, the Beast; never was there a easily explained reason for his actions. It was solely what he knew to be right. This confrontation between them was a looong time coming. It was a step to recovery for her that was needed. You can see even within her fear of him, her bravery. Yet you only see her slight bravery because of the fear she's feeling of losing Sesshomaru.
I really liked the initial reaction of the Beast to her. It's that animalistice nature that makes him so believable as something outside of human and at the same time more than human. (does that make sense? lol) Like the subtle tilt of the head and the He is tired of the 'game' of trying to figure her out. He wants to give her what she always wanted, no him. She denied him so vehemently for so long and now wants Sesshomaru without him. That can't be easy. He will do as he pleases, because he is who he is. There's nothing to stop him, nothing has ever stopped him. For her to try to 'run the show' is out of the question. The role reversal is just great. He is being pursued and he this time, has cold hard fact on his side. You CAN'T have one without the other. The way you wrote this made me want to be on his side, honestly. Cause he's right. You honestly believe that he was not coming from a place of malice. He knew back then that she was destined for something other than Inuyasha, whom didn't deserve her. His disdain is not sugar coated for him in this which I liked that you put that in here. All in all, it was a really good read. It was a rational and logical Beast that you never seen before, and that's what made this chapter in my opinion.
