I'm having such an awful day but finding out that you posted a new chapter and reading it made my heart feel lighter. I loved that kiss, it was so sweet. Also how he was holding her while she slept. You are awesome, you turned a dark, horrible, cold youkai into a gentle, loving concealed youkai. Love it!!

You know, every time I see an update for fics I have been following, I have different reactions. Some are like, "Uh-huh okay, shall read now". Some are "OMG click link IMMEDIATELY. Review after lunch." Some are "ZOMG ZOMG NOW. *zoooooms off*"
And Blood Stained has fallen into that I-see-update-and-all-my-cells-bounce-and-freeze-in-excitement-and-I-silently-hurry-up-to-log-into-Dokuga-via-iPhone-to-read category.
It's just that good.
Though I wanted to scream "KIYOSHI WHERE ARE YOUUUUUUUUU??????" I was reading this on the MRT (which is the Singapore equivalent of the subway/Tube/Metro, whatever) and I totally started sniffling and there was this middle-aged Indian man who was giving me the weirdest looks. Hrrrrmph. But never mind, MissTeak has learned the art of not bothering with looks when she is in fanfiction mode.
I seriously was happy for awhile when I thought they got help and Kiyoshi would be born this chapter and we'll all be very happy readers.
BUT NO. Darling I thought you loved me?? Why make me go through this AGONY???
The miscarriage fear was scary, like no kidding. Because you've already taken this fic to the darkest pits and back, I was not ruling out the possibility of little Kiyoshi dying in there. And I even entertained the silly thought of him being brought back by magic or whatever but PHEW. He is fine. Thank god, really!
Now I feel sorry for that poor Izumi guy because he is getting really close to having his arms pulled out by the sockets or head twisted off like a ragdoll. LOL. It's kinda funny in a morbid way.
Nice description there on Kagome's condition; I thought the amount of detail was totally captivating. The words gripped my attention and refused to relinquish their hold on my poor mind, and all I could think was 'Damn, damn, damn now it is really happening!!' Poor Kagome, it is painful to see her in so much agony. But of course, in the midst of all that suffering, you totally gave us a silver lining and we saw how Sesshoumaru was being so caring and dutiful as a mate to her! And she called for him~ lalala. In most stories, it wouldn't matter too much, but this is Blood Stained. The fact that she called him to her is...A BIG STEP.
Awww he's totally staying by her side! I don't like the idea of poor Kagome being confined to a bed when we all know that those vicious creeps are still lurking out there somewhere, feeling important over their stupid ideas of 'exacting justice' and whatnot. Seriouslyyyy. Losers. Attacking a pregnant woman. But I think Sesshoumaru won't be dumb enough to leave her by herself now, given that they had learned their lesson the hard way.
The poor girl's falling in and out of consciousness. That's not a good thing!! *hugggles Kagome* Poor thing, Sesshoumaru is not wrong when he was thinking to himself how much she had suffered...poor Kagome is suffering wayyyyy tooo much. She needs a break, really. I like how you described her waking up though...it was vivid, intense and very, very nerve-wracking. *blushes* This Jasmine totally gets freaked out easily over the smallest things, and reading Blood Stained might just give me a heart attack one day.
HANG IN THERE, SESSHOUMARU, KAGOME!! Kiyoshi needs you guys now, and it is nice to actually see the two of them grow closer and closer and WHAM!!! KISS!!!! OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG. *bounces excitedly*

But oh well, it ended up REALLY awkward, as expected. It is supposed to be so; they have too much between them that only time can heal, and there's no way we can expect FIREWORKS!passion at the moment, but we can see the gradual buildup of concern and a tender care-love growing.

And oooooh, now Kouga's going to be back in the game. For the first time, I am not too averse, surprisingly. In contrary, I am actually a little pleased that Kouga's going to be here, because Kagome will need all the protection and help she can get and he can definitely give her that! Kudos for wolfy, though we all know that Sesshoumaru will not be too happy with this. Hrrrrmph. But oh well, can't have the cake and eat it too, so bear with it, Sesshy!! It's all for Kagome!!
I am actually anticipating a scene where Kouga AND Sesshoumaru work together to destroy the creeps.

Kiyoshi weak huh man you better let him have a happy ending poor little tike. Least Kagome hasnt lose him yet i say yet because you never know what the future might bring. Im also guessing we wont be seeing kiyishi for a few more chapters right?
I also think that they should remove the watch let Sesshomaru be whole. And the kidnapping, Kiyoshi being weak and Kagome being in pain would not have happened if sesshomaru was a whole person and not just half. Sesshomaru will go and kill the kiddnappers. Yup Beast Sesshomaru will kill em all like he did in india. Is sesshomaru going to find out about the leader being his servant??? because i know he didnt know him when he saved kagome. (sorry been re-reading the last few chapters so im likely to ramble a little)
Least the doctor gave them a easier way for sesshomaru to contact him i guess.
Ok Kouga??? coming back into the picture hmmmm. Yes i know he is needed 4 eyes are better then 2 but kouga.......He would want to kill the guys that kiddnapped her and not sit at the hotel looking after Kagome. but he would do anything for Kagome i guess. But would he be bring his pack along or just himself. Pack would be weird i think but no one would want to mess with them. (aww out of coffee) You know kouga might bring out the jealous side of our beloved demon lord again maybe anyway. And sesshomaru is going to make the call. i can just picture it "YOU LET KAGOME GET KIDNAPPED YOU POOR EXCUSE OF A DEMON LORD" or something like that anyway.

Yay, Kagome got rescued! I was hoping we would know more of the situation of the baby in this chapter. But thanks to that stupid doctor, who isn't hurrying up, I'll just have to wait. I pretty sure that Kagome will make it, but I'm worrying that she might have a miscarrage, or Kiyoshi might end up stillborn. I am, though kind of disappionted that Sesshoumaru didn't kill the kidnappers. And again I'm that they'll show up later for the jewel and end up dead or something. I'm very excited of what Kiyoshi will turn out to be, since he's not going to be a human, hanyou, or a full demon. Though, I am worried how the birthing will take place. Their relationship is moving a lot faster due to the circumstances, but they're making progress nonetheless. I just hope that Kagome and Kiyoshi will be safe after all the situation has cooled down. I'm really hoping for their saftey. :3

I am so addicted to this story; you don’t even know how bad it is. I have been reading this fanfic for a couple days now and it has become all I can think about, at work and school. I rush home wanting to get to my computer to continue reading this fanfic. Do you have an idea of how many chapters you’re going to make it? It is so good. PLEASE update it as soon as possible. Okay, now that I FINALLY have a chance to review this chapter I'm going to do it! It's been one heck of a week so I again apologize for not reviewing sooner. :(
I don't think I have ever been so happy to see the beast in this story than I have with the last two chapters. This one especially. I love how all his thoughts were soley focused on finding her and Kiyoshi and nothing else. Yes he was thinking of taking revenge on the ones that took them but his first priority was finding Kagome and making sure she and the pup were safe. That took a lot of control and I am amazed that he had it. You could really feel his anguish and desperation setting in. You could also feel how much he truly does love Kagome. He was in agony when she left and he continues to be in agony everytime his 15 minutes are up and he is ripped away from her. I almost felt a little bad for the beast in this chapter. It's hard to be away from the one who hold your heart whether it's by choice or not.
I was very surprised that he left any of the abductors alive. I was almost convinced that when he found them they would be dead within a matter of seconds. Again that had to take so much control for him to not rip out their hearts right then and there. I was just glad that he managed to find her.
It seems to me that the two halves are beginning to merge a bit judging by the conversations they had with eachother as to what to do. The rational side of Sesshoumaru understood that Kagome needed to be taken out of there right away and he was able to impart that to his more basic side so he didn't go insane and kill people while she needed him the most. That came into play again when they reached the hotel. At least Sesshoumaru was able to reason with his beast and keep him from rushing inside like a storm and raising more questions than needed.
I'm so glad the hotel staff didn't question him as to what was happening. That could have just made things worse. Hopefully they were able to reach the doctor and impart to him that he needed to show up right away. I hope the doctor gets there soon!
I loved how you wrote about Sesshoumaru's not knowing how to console her. His own emotions were raging inside him and whether he would admit it or not he was scared about losing them both. It's hard to comfort someone when you, yourself are terrified as to what is going to happen. Poor Kagome shouldn't feel bad about what happened. It wasn't her fault and just like Sesshoumaru said, she was trying to save them both. It was better for her to try than to stand there and do nothing and let her captors do who knows what.
I seriously almost started crying when she begged him not to go. The poor girl is so scared and she needs him. His reaction to her request was not unexpected. He never expected her to need him for anything but if there was ever a time when she did, it's now. When he moved behind her to hold her I had a serious "Aww" moment because it's a simple action like that, that might help Kagome understand that he does feel something. He could have been content to hold her hand and nothing more but he went the extra mile. Bravo Sesshou, bravo.
I really can't wait for the next chapter, I think moreso than any other chapter before. This story is getting so intense and emotional and I just love every single second of it. Please update soon and I'm so happy to hear that your grandmother is coming home. That has to be a relief for you and your family! I don't think you need me to tell you more how much I enjoy this story... I say that in my PMs, emails and wall posts to you LOL. I am surprised you haven't pounced on me and roar "I've heard that enough!!!" but yeah, you get the main point. This chapter was the one I liked the best so far, with a very exciting blend of action, drama and heavy emotions. If this was Facebook, I'd press the 'like' tab a thousand times. Awesome-possum, really!!!
I have never been more thankful for dear ol' Beast...I've grown to accept him, but I actually adored him enough to want to kiss him NOW...Sesshy did the right thing by releasing him, and thank goodness he was there, or we would have had three deaths to deal with...*shudders and shakes head violently* We can't have that!!! So THANK GOODNESS THE BEAST WAS WILLING TO NEGOTIATE AND HELPED TAKE CARE OF THOSE VERMIN.
I was almost ready to jump into your wonderful story with a chainsaw and do some kung-fu!! I actually like how you have potrayed the primary antagonist...while it was kinda surprising in the sense that he appeared only a few chapters back, the way you had described how he grew from confused to shocked to annoyed to outright INSANE. And guess what?? We witnessed the insanity in this chapter. He's such a violent psycho!! Like ZOMG the girl is pregnant for goodness' sake! but then again, it is the pregnancy that takes up a huge part of his hatred, so...my point totally doesn't stand. Stupid, evil creep!!
When he finally got to her, I told you, I managed to find my heart back. It sank with the previous chapter's cliffy, and thank goodness, it is now very much intact and beating!! Well, we all know that he is no doctor, but still, the presence is good enough. He can be her source of strength, which is something she needs very much indeed. I cannot imagine if she is left to continue fending for herself, because she definitely did not seem as if she could hold out any longer with the continuous abuse and whatnot. Besides, in her state, she could not possibly fight back, could she? Either way, she would lose, and the stakes are very high indeed.
So...thank goodness he came to her side. *phew* but I have to add that my heart kinda sank again when she voiced out the possibility of losing poor little Kiyoshi. And I remembered that Blood Stained falls under the category of 'Dark Fic', which now scares the crap outta me. PLEASE. NO BABY DEATHS.
The final scene in this chapter took my breath away with how powerful the imagery was, and the idea of them caught in such a situation, while lending strength to each other, is beautiful!! I am a sucker for romantic scenes, and this just abouts tops the list for Blood Stained so far!!! It's always nice (in a twisted, tragic way) when one of them is injured/sad/hurting, and the other provides some form of comfort. And WOOHOOO! Holding hands, holding hands! Please hold more than hands!! (okay that sounds a little wrong) It's fluff and heartbreaking pain mixed in one. This is...BEAUTIFUL!!! XD It brought a few tears to my eyes, because through the romantic haze, lies a tinge of pain and fear. And it doesn't help that I picked a sad song to play while I was reading it! It's a Chinese song, but if you ever want to hear it, let me know and I can give you the link.
Let me digress a little...the lyrics went along the lines of "My love has reached a level so deep; it can't be stopped even if I wanted it to..." and "I no longer am hung up on finding out who I really am; I am the tears I shed at night. But you could say, what I couldn't get over was how everything I have done for you couldn't convince you that it is love."
Now you know why I went all emotional and sappy?? When I was listening to the song, I thought of Blood Stained, especially when Sesshoumaru in this story is so plagued by guilt, and is always questioning just how he could have done more for Kagome in one way or another. Aaaaah. Heartache x 10000000. But I love this. Call me a masochist, but it's really nice.
Now I really, really want Kiyoshi to be okay...I cannot imagine if anything bad happens to the little thing!! DOCTOR!!!! COME NOW!!!! Preemies don't have it easy either, and I hope he doesn't have to go through that. *clutches plushie with googly, watery eyes* I love you lots and I hate to say this, but...
