this is great. keep writing. i like the fact Kags is a strong woman and moved on with her life.  But if Sess is going to have a relationship with her he is going to have to come clean about the will before or the drama the Inu can cause will be nasty and fun to read too :). well keep writing and update often.

Finally...I had been waiting for you to update this story. I really want to see where you will take this. Please don't give up on it yet!

This is a really promising beginning chapter. I like how you took a route from the usual and made Kagome not-so-perfect, and when she did lose the weight, she had what seemed to me like an army haircut? which some people might offensive and unattractive on a woman (not me! :D). Very nice portrayal of her. Also, kudos for having her buy healthy organic things at the grocery store! I'm all about that.

The one thing I had a little confusion on was when Sesshomaru was thinking about the upcoming dinner, was it Inuyasha's fiancee? or Sesshomaru's? I figured it was Inuyasha's but I wanted to be sure. Anyways, I look forward to reading more chapters, and I sincerely hope you continue!

Okay, I went back and re-read that.  Lived together for three years, been together for six years, known eachother for ten years.  Then, two years later, InuYasha turns up engaged to another woman.  He's such a t***...  Though I know you could handle this in a more positive way, by taking the path that InuYasha and Kagome didn't make eachother strong, they were actually holding eachother back.  That is probably the case, but I still think InuYasha is a t***.  I hope you portray him as a total jerk, and his fiancee as well.  I hope they treat Kagome with disrespect, because I love to hate InuYasha and the women he finds more worthy than Kagome...  Ooooh, like an earliler reviewer wrote, this story is really making my brain work overtime...  More, please?  Preferably really soon?

This is really promising.  I like it a lot.  InuYasha has a fiance.  He had known Kagome for ten years, lived together for six?  And now after two years apart, he is getting married. Hnnnn.  That's InuYasha for you.  And you conveyed so much about him by simply conveying those small, spare facts.  Excellent!  I hope you keep going with this.  If you do, you will have at least one loyal reader.  I only have one little issue.  I thought from the preview that KAGOME was the one unwilling to commit, not InuYasha...

Some writers don't like it when reviewers ask questions about what is going to happen next.  When I do that, it's more of an acknowledgement of the thoughts you left me with.  The suspense that makes me eager for the next chapter.  I don't want or expect you to answer.  So here goes...  Is the fiance Kikyo?  Was InuYasha's reluctant to get married because Kagome was heavy?  Did she place all of her needs for self actualization in their relationship, and it was too much for him?  How will InuYasha react if Kagome starts spending time with his brother?  The opportunities for drama are endless in the scenario you have set up.  I can't wait for more!

I quite like this... a strong kagome... I like that idea and her switch of profession has me wondering how long the appearance of not being "herself" will work out. I look forward to reading more.
