You're one of the best! I will point out anything I think you should pay attention to, but, really, some of the things you write are poetry. I don't know if you're just starting out as a writer (I somehow doubt this, you're too mature in the craft), but you have your own voice, your stories have depth and your characters are real.

I can see you, one day, sitting down and writing about the people you've met, the lives you've observed, the world around you. Don't get a swelled head, but your style reminds me of John Steinbeck. He wrote a treatment of the King Arthur story, didn't finish it, but it was the most powerful, human and best version I've ever read. That is what I am comparing your work to. And you aren't coming up shy of him, either.

Keep working and I'll keep reading.

Thanks so much for the review of In Death, Trust Me as You Didn't in Life! This story is really kicking my butt, truth to tell, my muse throws tantrums when I try to work on any of my other stories... in fact, I'm about halfway done with the next chapter already. Sigh. It'll be posted by tomorrow, lol. Anyway, I'm glad you are enjoying the story, and hopefully, will keep doing so!
