I liked the descriptions in this. Particularly the detail of Kagome smelling pot in Inuyasha's car. The way we don't hear the discussion between them but see the result is very effective.  Sesshoumaru lending Kagome his swetshirt was very sweet. I could envision her smelling his scent and holding it close.  

One of the best parts was the diner. It seemed so comfortable and perfect for him to take her there to relax and unwind.

Oh, you are so NOT doing this in two parts! I love this story and Part 2 was so good! I can't wait to see what comes next. And putting Kagura in charge of the West Coast Division AND Inuyasha! LOL! That was a masterstroke of evil. I LOVE IT!

Well i just wanted to say that i really like your story. how they met and stayed together. i cant wait to find out what happens next. especially since right now kagome is at the masin with Inu taisho. oh by the way i also wanted to say that i like the fact that you write with detail. i love being able to picture what is happening while reading.

Oh wow! WOW! Somehow this is moving with the inevitability of a slow, wide stream, gradually filling from a distant rainstorm to flood levels. The way you build up the emotions, without it being noticeable, it amazing. I also love the characters you create.

I love how this is going. It may be a simple story, but the descriptions and expert manipulation of words weaved a story which I found myself unable to tear my eyes away from. What really captured my attention was the way you described everything about the rain and how Kagome was drenched. It was vividly described, and as a reader, I couldn't wait for Kagome to get out of those soaking wet garments either. I could practically feel the rain. Somehow, it totally paved the way to the lemon. Can't wait for more...keep up the good work!!

Very hot!  I love the story, even as short as it is going to be, and you paint beautiful scenes.  Nicely done!

Who doesn't love a rainy night? Honestly. Well, I am very much enjoying your story so far. Great job. I especially love all of the desciption. Personally, I'm a big Inu no Taisho fan, but now he's making me all upset. Then again, I enjoy him in a funny, warm, meddlin' kind of way, you know? P.S. The title reminds me of this older (mid-90s I think) country song I used to love when I was younger. Although the only lyrics I can remember is, "I love a rainy night, it makes me high(?) or smile (?)". Haha. I don't know.
