Thank you so much for the stunning reviews of both my stories 'Once upon an Edo night' and its sequel, 'Night of undying passion'. These two stories, albeit short, are among my personal favorites and I am glad you enjoyed reading them.

Speaking of 'Night of undying passion', yes, I tried putting myself in the shoes of Tayu no Higurashi and I figured that no woman caught in a situation like that would want the tenderness of a man whom she could never have. It's heartbreaking, isn't it? I felt terribly sad for her, and kinda surprised myself because she was supposed to be fictitious, and was actually created by none other than myself.

I am sorry to hear about your fiance's suicide attempt, and I sincerely hope he is now better. I hope the subsequent chapters in 'Once upon an Edo night' did answer your question as to why Sesshoumaru did not save the tayu back then from suicide. It wasn't as if he did not want to; it was because the society did not allow him to. Their social standings would never allow for something like that to happen, and the tayu was too broken inside to ever be whole again. I secretly found the idea of a suicide pact between two ill-fated lovers very romantic, which explained this story. LOL. I guess I sound kinda psychotic saying this, but the whole idea of Sesshoumaru accompanying her to the gates of Hell and eventually leaving his family crest with her appealed to me very much indeed.
