To be honest, I kinda surprised myself by coming up with rainbows as the item. I'm not sure myself how I ended up with that - it struck me when I was in bed, half-awake or half-asleep lol. So my subconscious probably spat that idea out.

I certainly try not to disappoint! I feel though I should be better at replying to people's reviews though. ^^;

I mean that's a valid point you're making, Kagome definitely could've found out Sesshoumaru's contact information from Tsukiko if she had wanted to. But I figured Kagome wouldn't want to pry into that, and wouldn't know if Sesshoumaru would want to meet with her so she wouldn't have reached out to him in these two month's time.

(The way I imagined the backstory for this fic, Kagome's relationship with Sesshoumaru followed the canon quite closely - that is they were allies at best, and the turning point in their relationship was when they fought together against Naraku in that final battle. And right after that battle ended, Kagome got sent back to her own time so they never had the chance to become more than allies, even if they had wanted to.)
