Oh no actually he's shaving his head for cops for cancer. thats what they do there, either collect the hair for wig, or just shaving you know for the meaning of the action.

Speaking of the ryokan, yes, I stayed at Shimosagaya Ryokan at Tsumago-juku from 21 to 23 May 2010 when I was in Japan for my graduation trip! Doesn't Tsumago sound familiar? LOL. It's the place where Sesshoumaru's Shiraito Ryokan is!
It was the least expensive of the four options I had, and it cost us approximately 8200yen per night, which is around USD88.40 It's a little steep, but still, terribly fun! The food was unlike the usual Japanese home cooking, and there were some dishes which I found pretty hard to swallow. (I am not kidding; they served us seasoned grasshoppers.)

Awww please don't feel bad! I understand being caught up in reading; I'm guilty of not reviewing stories as well. Not for Dokuga, since it's like one big family here, but for some other fandoms. And what you've written is not meaningless! It's really about getting to know more about fellow fans and making friends. If you see what I talk about with Madison here on Dokuga, you'll understand what's meaningless. LOL! I love her lots and the two of us talk about all sorts of nonsense.
I'll definitely read your works if you do decide to post them up. Historical fiction or challenge response, anything...I'd definitely take a look at them. Please don't feel discouraged because you haven't been writing for as long as some others have been. Everyone is simply writing for the fun of it, so don't let what others have achieved affect your enthusiasm for writing! I started writing fanfiction five years ago for the Rurouni Kenshin fandom, and gosh, looking at what I've written in the past makes me cringe. LOL. But still, it's good to think of it as a growing up process. I've definitely improved in terms of my writing and confidence in my own works, and I am sure you will too. No one starts out accomplished! Do let me know if you post something up!
Thank you for the stunning review of Happily Ever After! I am glad you're liking it so far, in fact, I've written two other chapters for it so I hope to edit them and post them up soon. In response to the review, I try to make use of what I learn and remember from daily life and apply them to my stories. My stories tell stories of things I see and experience (does it even make sense??) and if you read my story The Third Parties, you will understand what I mean. Prisoner's Dilemma was what I learnt during classes in political science in university! LOL. I surprised myself when I thought of writing it, but don't you agree it is SO Sesshoumaru to say something like that??
So do you speak the Japanese language by any chance? And LOL I don't know what I look like, I guess when you see the same face for 23 years in the mirror, you don't feel anything about it.
Korean pop is amazing too; I adore SHINee, Kara, Super Junior etc. As for Mandarin pop, you can check this link out! I was listening to this when I was typing out chapter 3 of Happily Ever After:

Dear Ruriame,
Thank you for the review of Wisteria! It's really alright about not reviewing earlier; I am contented enough with the idea that people actually bother to read what I write for fun. Wisteria is a very nice story to write, since I like the Japanese culture like you do. It's quite abit of hard work when it comes to research and descriptions, but I enjoy what I do.
I see that you've written something for the non-songfic song challenge by Mysticangeldust, and I definitely look forward to reading what you've written. I've posted something up in response to that challenge, but gosh, I have no idea if what I've come up with makes sense. Speaking of songs, well, most of the music which inspire my writing are Japanese, Korean and Mandarin pop. Ikimono gakari's SAKURA and Kobukuro's Tsubomi are songs which inspired quite a few chapters of Wisteria.

Lol, well to be honest, I'm not even sure myself if I'll be able to make the distance, lmao. But I will be trying that's for sure. It's in about a month now, so Im not really getting a head start. I should have started this a long time ago.
But I was a little busy, so oh well. I mean, even if I dont make it the whole way (well running, I can walk the rest at the worst) it's alright. I collected a lot of donations, and I'm trying so what the heck.
And my fiance is a cop, and has the cop for cancer coming up, and I'm ready to laugh my ass off, cause he has been growing his hair, cause they shave them, you know. And Gosh, last year when he was bald, it was hilarious. Lmao.
So you have any summer plans?

Wow, that seems like a lot of work.
Im just on loans, lol. Its going to be hell for me when I'm done.
What program are you thinking of going in?
Right now I'm just traveling between Toronto and Montreal a lot, spending some time with my family before I return to school in august, since I barely go when school is there.
Im also busy a lot with exercise. I want to do this 20k marathon for blood cancer, but although Im well "fit" in the sense my weight is fine, im not "in shape", lol. So I'm working out those legs.

Thanks for such a fantastic review on Absolution's Pursuit! As far as the quality of writing, I think it's one of my better works so if you do decide to read some of my older stuffs, I hope you won't be too disappointed!
Anyway, I never thought I was all that popular as a writer but, whatever the case, I'm glad you decided to check out my work! Hope you'll enjoy the rest of the story!
