Thank you for your review on " A New Year's Challenge"! I'm glad you had so much fun reading it. Though the elevator ride was only the beginning of my torture. The story is now complete and I hope that you will like the rest of it too!

I really do appreciate your insight. I was so nervous when I received the prompt for Star Wars AU since I know so many people are so passionate about it, but unfortunately I've never been one of them. So for fans like you to enjoy the one shot is amazing and a big relief. Thank you.

Thank you for reviewing Miscellany, glad the Star Wars AU excited you so much.
Thank you for your criticism. I confess I've never been much of a fan of Star Wars, though I forced myself to watch the prequel movies for research for this one shot. I did glean from those that lightsabers were part of Jedi training and that they have to assemble their own to "graduate". Sesshoumaru didn't ask Kagome if she knew how to use one, he asked if she had one, and I figured as a librarian she wouldn't be required to carry one around on her person at all times. Therefore she replied no, partly because she didn't yet fully trust him, partly because the knowledge of her lightsaber being safely stored in her room or whatever wouldn't have been of any help in their situation anyhow. ^^; And Kagome did use the Force in the one shot, even if I never actually mentioned it by name since I wanted to keep things subtle. She felt each death, she felt Sess before she saw him etc. Perhaps I'm too fond of the between the lines stuff and it didn't come across clearly enough. Apologies for that! Feedback from Molly Hooper Holmes: No worries! I'm probably a little overly critical because I'm such a big SW nerd as I stated earlier. (I've watched all 7 movies as well as Rogue One and even a bit of the clone wars animated series.) So I have a picture in my head of how a Jedi lives. However, you are absolutely right about a Jedi's pain such as Kagome's (see Obi-Won & the destruction of Alderaan), and I see her using he Force. I just for some reason read that she didn't know how to duel with the light saber, but I was wrong. Your one-shot was VERY intriguing, I can absolutely see Sess as a Sith trying to fight his way back into the light. This was a GREAT story, and despite my criticism, I absolutely loved it. Thanks for all your great stories!

I'm sure it was confusing! I've been trying to figure out how I want to end this story and in order to do that I've been thinking a lot where I would place this all in the canon timeline... and in considering the canon events I forgot how AU the premise of this story was to begin with. ^^; An embarrassing mistake, but I'm really grateful that you pointed it out to me, so thank you!

Thank you for your review for The Shikon and the Miko and pointing out my epic blunder. You're absolutely right, I have to apologise. Feedback from Molly Hooper Holmes: No apologies! I've been a fan of your work, and the last thing I wanted to do was question you, I was just a little confused!
