What to say about myself . . .

I started reading fanfiction several years ago, when I developed a fixation on Sesshoumaru. Miroku drew me to watch Inuyasha (I love that lecherous monk to death), but Sesshoumaru soon became my favorite character.

I was not always a fan of Sess/Kag stories, but a couple of very well written plots changed that. From reading on FF.net, I found A Single Spark, which led me here.

While I have a decent amount of writing experience, creative writing has never been one of my focuses. So, here I am, trying to see if I can flex my creative muscles a bit. My imagination definitely needs the work-out.

  • Shocking Situation -- Originally a one-shot response to katlady's "shocks" challenge, now a chapter story. Kagome receives an accessory that makes the guys in the group want to stay clear of her.

  • Frog Prince, Meet Cinderella -- Handsome, rich Sesshoumaru Takashi decides to escape his life for a while. Donning the persona of an unnoticeable, normal human, he begins to work at an American retail store and meets Kagome Higurashi, who teaches him to look beyond appearances.
  • Real Men of Genius -- Just because I get a kick out of those beer commercials and could imagine a couple of scenarios involving Sesshoumaru and Kagome, I started writing a couple of one-shots.

Stories I'm thinking about writing:

  • Who's Afraid of the Big Bad . . . Dog? -- I'm thinking of writing a series of one-shots where Sesshoumaru is stuck in a smaller version of his true form and he is put through many of the plots of well-known stories involving the Big Bad Wolf. Right now, I definitely have ideas for "Little Red Riding Hood" and "The Three Little Pigs."
  • For Priestess Skye's Reinventing The classics challenge and knifethrower's suggestion, I'm thinking of writing an Inuyasha version of Wuthering Heights, with Sesshoumaru as Heathcliff. It will be some time coming . . . I need to brush up on the novel and work out some other details.

Have you seen that video by Gackt? The 2nd chapter was about schizophrenia. It was fascinating that a person with it could really belive that their hallucination was real.
Thanks for the precious reviews! I'm glad there are actually people who like this kind of oneshot! Okay I have another dark plot on my mind now! I'll write it after I'm done with the next chapter of US.

Thanks for the amazing review! As for why Sess didn't revive the samurai, it was because I don't think that Sess would use his power carelessly. The samurai held no significance to him or Kags. So reviving him would be useless. Sess is not an angel that would bring life back to just anyone. Well that's what I think anyway... Thank you so much for pointing it to me. I actually had a little debate inside my head when writting this, to revive the samurai or not. But then I chose not to.
Anyway sorry for ranting so long! Your review was just so interesting to reply back! I'm glad that you enjoyed this story, and that you managed to grasp the complexity of emotions that I try to portray.
And I'll be glad if you keep criticize my work and giving inputs for a better improvement of the story.
