It was official- her intended mate was driving her mad. Here she was trying to learn for tomorrow's math test while he was howling like he had lost his mind. 'If he won't stop soon, he will regret that' thought Kagome angrily.

Outside the house Sesshoumaru was also slowly loosing his patience. His throat was getting sore and his Kagome still hasn't reacted. It was really frustrating- any female in his time would know that he was calling for attention of his beloved. How long could it take modern, educated woman to understand that?

Suddenly window from Kagome's room was opened and spark of hope entered taiyoukai's heart only to die when he was introduced to Kagome's shoe and followed by her yell: "QUIET!"

Sesshoumaru quickly transformed to his humanoid form. It was now clear as day that she didn't understand anything from his howl. 'Modern woman'- he thought sarcastically. Getting into the house and trying to find another way to take Kagome from her strange scrolls Sesshoumaru decided one thing: 'Modern education is overrated."
