Okay let me say first off I'm sorry for how this came out. The proportions on her head and arms are off and I need to rework on my shading. But then again what do you expect when you don't do a realism pic for a year or so. Anyways I figured I would try and do what I think Kagome would look like if she was real. And after looking at a lot of Japanese models I think I found the right facial and body structures (Okay so I might have made her boobs a little too big, but what do you expect I'm a guy :P )

Okay it’s time to answer some questions that I’ve seen in the comments so far.

1. The main things wrong with this picture are that the head is too big for the body and her hands are too small. This, IMO, throws the whole picture off and makes it look very awkward to me. And I’m sorry that I didn’t catch it before I began shading, because this picture is not up to the standards that my realisms should be at.

2. I do plan on doing more realism so I don’t lose touch on how to do them again. This means that I already have in the works another Kagome picture to try and redeem myself from this one, and I’m finalizing the design for a Sesshoumaru picture. I’d like to do a couple pic but we’ll see how that works out, cause I’m also currently working on a request that’ll be taking up a lot of my art time.

3. Her bust size just appears to be larger than it actually is cause her arms are squeezing them together, but if I had to guess by comparing them to my wife’s DDD’s I’d say she’s either a high D or DD cup. The reason I made them this big is cause if you look at a real picture of a girl in a fuku they actually cover up a girl’s curves very well, and being as you can notice Kagome’s bust in the anime I’d have to say she’s probably a C cup. So being as she’s already that when she’s about 15-16 it’s not uncommon to think that she could go up another cup size or two by the time she reaches her late teens early twenties.

4. I have seen plenty of Asian women with natural bust sizes this big and much bigger. It’s not uncommon to see Gravure Models with cup sizes ranging in the D sizes and much higher. I think that the idea that Asian women all have small breast is a stereotype that’s been spread around over the years to where now everyone thinks that it’s fact.

5. I have been inspired to do a lot of pictures by Sess/Kag fanfics or I have done picture’s for authors stories or they would ask me to draw pictures for them. If you have an idea I would be interested, but I will warn you that right now my life is very hectic so even though I might agree to do a picture it might take a while for me to get the time to work on it. That’s why I had to close request before and why I never really pursued doing commissions.

6. I have posted my artwork on other sites. I used to post on Fanart-Central under the username Amadeus. I posted on A Single Spark under Amadeus. And I still post on DeviantArt under the username AbioticFactor

Also being as everyone thinks that her boobs are too big and to prove my point about fukus covering up true bust size this model is a 80E in Japan which is a 36D in US size but you might not think that because of the sailor outfit she's wearing.

So to say that Kagome is atleast a C cup isn't that far fetched if you compare the real life images next to a picture of her from the anime.
