"What I mean is, I get the flowers," she explained, "but…why the mirror?"
Sesshoumaru gave her a long unreadable look, and then he finally said, "Chocolate."
This went completely over her head.
"Chocolate?" she echoed.
To her amazement, a slow flush spread up his neck and darkened his cheeks.
"'Something very sweet,'" he recited, using her own words.
When she still didn't comprehend he made a frustrated sound and grabbed her wrist, lifting it and the mirror up so she was looking into her own blue-gray eyes. "You," he said fiercely. "You…are the sweetest thing I know."
(PS this is from my post to Unforgettable lines. From Tally Mark's Frivolous Sentimentalities)

What was up with him? That was the quickest mood swing she’d ever seen.
A thought made Kagome giggle. She knew that males had their own hormonal cycle. Maybe he was PMS-ing.
She snorted again, knowing she’d be dead if he ever heard that.
Glancing at the sun, she sighed. Time for court lessons.
However, when she exited the study, she bumped into a large chest. Literally.
Kagome looked up at the tall figure, half hoping it was Sesshomaru. Unfortunately, it was not.
The white tiger demon gave her a toothy grin. “Well well well, little miko, we meet again.”
Lol the last post of my drabble series

This last two assignemnts have been much easier to understand than all the previous ones. I'm sure its because their manner of speech is much more clearer than those previous philosophers. So far, I think that every philosopher has had his say on what they believe to be certain or what can be doubted. However, even when everything we've believed for so far has been doubted, and been questioned, our beliefs have already been thaught to us from the moment of our birth. Everyone is a product of their upbrining. Our parents will teach us what is right and wrong and from that we'll continue to make our choices and decisions. Undoubtedly somethings will seem to be easisly doubted, such as the table in our readings. It's true that a square table is viewed as a square table, however as we start walking around it, that same table will suddenly seem like a diamond. The same theory applies to both the stars and the heart. We were all thought in kindergarted or elementary that a star has five points, and we assume the shape of a heart is that which we see during valanites day. Looking at it closely though the stars that are in our universe are not five pointed, or even shaped like any of the stars that we were thought to draw, they are infact balls of matter and plasma which are being held together by gravity. The same principle applies to a heart, as its real shape is nowhere near the shape we were shown to draw in representation of it. With both of these objcts there remains one simple fact: the majority of us will never see a real heart or star in our lifetime, so it is easy for us to just believe the shapes that were thaught to us in our childhood. Everything in life can be questioned, to a certain extent. In fact its encouraged that people try and be open minded about what exists and what dosent. Do we know that God exists? Do we know that aliens are real? Are there really ghosts? Can animals feel? All those questions can be answered in an affermative or with a denial, and most of those answers will be influenced by what each individual was taught during childhood.
Umm wow, this is a rough draft for my philosophy assignment, which i had to send out a week ago. I didnt know my computer retained info from that long ago...
P.S: OMG!! i have a lot of grammatical errors.

"And I was promptly attended by the kitchen supervisor when I rang the bell, thus reducing any frustration on my part which may have tempted me to venture forth into the forbidden area in search of someone to help me."
I was just finishing a college assignment where I had been on a two week "work experience" placement at an Aged Care Facility and I was describing the kitchen. It reads a little strangely without the rest of the essay to go with it!

Japanese macaques
Was searching for their picture since an author from an art challenge was saying how a certain urban legend possibly was started when people saw Japanese macaques and mistook them for monsters with human faces back in the Edo period.

We'll begin with a box, and the plural is boxes;
but the plural of ox became oxen not oxes.
One fowl is a goose, but two are called geese,
yet the plural of moose should never be meese.
You may find a lone mouse or a nest full of mice;
yet the plural of house is houses, not hice.
If the plural of man is always called men,
why shouldn't the plural of pan be called pen?
If I spoke of my foot and show you my feet,
and I give you a boot, would a pair be called beet?
If one is a tooth and a whole set are teeth,
why shouldn't the plural of booth be called beeth?
Then one may be that, and three would be those,
yet hat in the plural would never be hose,
and the plural of cat is cats, not cose.
We speak of a brother and also of brethren,
but though we say mother, we never say methren.
Then the masculine pronouns are he, his and him,
but imagine the feminine, she, shis and shim.
o.O When did I copy that? XD
