lol. Thanks, UtterChaos. I like that very much. *Grins* I know now that I visit the Twilight Zone quite often.

Pluto is no longer a planet because a new category was created the "dwarf planets", which Pluto is now categorized as. Mostly this is because they found objects in Pluto's vicinity which are as large as Pluto, and not called planets. Basically there would end up to be many more planets if they allowed all objects as large as Pluto to be a planet.

I think the egg came first too. A turkey egg, that the turkey cross bred with a umm...dove? and thus the chicken species was born!
And umm, opening your mouth? I think it has to do with stretching your skin muscles nice and taught so you can better apply it.
Which is a better hunter-killer submarine, an Akula II or a Type 1400?

Umm . . . I would guess that the Akula II would be the better one. It has more torpedo tubes, and can store more torpedoes, as well as a surface-to-air missile launcher. It looks more streamlined, so it probably moves better through water. Most likely, it is more quiet in the water, too, because of both its shape and its nuclear-powered engine. Maneuverability and silence would be about as important as armament.
Then again, I'm an Air Force brat. What do I know about submarines except from what I saw in Down Periscope? I got all of that information from skimming Wikipedia. That just raised other questions like, why give a submarine a name like "wild boar?" I mean a wild boar on land is something you don't want to mess with, but in the sea . . . I'm thinking drowned, salted pork. Not something that really strikes fear or awe in your enemies. Then again, it wouldn't be the first time I have seen an odd name for something.
Enough rambling, here's what I want to know. Which is it, buffalo or bison?

According to Wiki:
The American Bison (Bison bison) is a North American species of bison, also commonly known as the American Buffalo. "Buffalo" is somewhat of a misnomer for this animal, as it is only distantly related to either of the two "true buffaloes", the Asian Buffalo (or "Water Buffalo") and the African Buffalo.
Now my question, which is a bit of a two-parter (only a little and they relate to each other):
Ok, if you are not supposed to feed mogwais after midnight (to avoid getting killer gremlins), if you did by accident but then traveled over a time zone within an hour (there by going back an hour), would you undo the damage? Are they always set to the local time or the current time in China?
My hubby and me had a 3 hour long discussion about mogwai and gremlin physiology, and how it relates and differs from in different circumstances and stimuli. Oh yeah, we rock on toast. We have not found any conclusive evidence as of yet, but it doesn’t stop our speculations.

wow, your question just made my brain hurt....
maybe magwais' internal clocks are aclamated to the area that they are in, so they are set to local time, so moving them back one time zone wouldn't do anything.
MY QUESTION
Its been a long time since I saw Gremlins, how do they get changed back to normal???? Wow I saw that movie in the move theater when it first came out, I feel old now, maybe Im senile, what was my question again??

They don't, it's a one-way transformation. They stay Gremlins.

According to the first wikipedia result, the Big Bopper did!
Which is a more cost effective means of delivering a moderate payload over a 1,000nm distance, a Tu-22M3 "Backfire-C" or a B1-B "Lancer"?

I forgot to look up cost effectiveness....but here is what I found and my hypothesis
russin bomber (Tu-22M3) can carry a loaded weight of 277,800 lbs with a range of 5,000 miles
US bomber (B1- can carry 326,000 lbs with a range of 6,478 miles
hypothesis: the US's B1-b can carry more over a longer distance so it is more cost effective, but what I gleened from wikipedia is that there are not many left, they were mothballed, then brought back for the war, cannabalized for parts, so it might not be cost effective if it can't be used.
so in the end, this might not be the right answer

Well, I can't seem to go more than 4 hours without a nap, unless it's bedtime, and then I can't sleep. However, I think that the record for going without sleep is something like 20 days - for a normal person. Define normal.
Come to think of it, does anybody know a 'normal' person? Or is this something like Mothman and Sasquatch?

Usually it is because when you are getting a tattoo endorphins are released into your blood stream and thus gives you adrenalin. Which usually means the feeling wears off in a few hours. <-Actually looked that up after my first tattoo->
