Is the whole gallery areas down? I go to look at people's artwork and nothing shows up. Just a blank web page.
Do you have it disabled temporarily and doing fixups? Just curious.

Are you using a Mozilla browser? We had a problem with Mozilla and the gallery, but I thought the upgrade to PHP5 would fix it. Does this happen when you click on the side images on the front page?

I am running Internet Explorer and I am having the same problem with the fanart gallery. After clicking on the link, I am taken to a blank page, no banner or anything. This happens from the side pics on the homepage, too. What does that mean?

I apologize for this error. We've been tracking it on another thread, and I haven't been able to pinpoint what causes it.

I've just made a few minor changes that may have helped, but at this point, I'm getting doubtful. Please sign out and sign back in again so the cookie refreshes and let me know if there's been any improvement.

If this doesn't fix the problem, I'm going to take the Fanart section offline tomorrow night and do a complete overhaul of that area. Something is seriously not working right if people aren't able to load. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to find out what allows some people to load the pages normally and prevents others, so it's been very hard to track down.

I logged out then back in but nothing changed. It's not an inconvenience (at least not to me). I totally understand that you guys are working out the kinks and this just goes along with it. Btw, kudos on the forum. This is definately the best way I have seen for site moderators/administrators to stay in quick contact with the fans. Thanks to you and demonlordlover for this great site.

just letting you know that the gallery section is fine on my end. i'm running Firefox 2.0.0.14 and have had no problems.

Probably 6-7 people initially screened the site and went through combing for bugs, but Vyncent was the first person that I know of that ran into this issue. It's really starting to get on my nerves, so tomorrow, I'm going to take that area out of public view and go to work.

Wow this a nifty looking place but yeah I can't get the fanart either, which you proably got from my e-mail. lol I use Avant and have every little plug in for Netscape and IE. So I don't know what it could be.

I have a plan of attack for tomorrow. Take down section, take backups, clear all tables and files, reupload, rebridge, restore backups. If that doesn't fix the issue, I'm going to pour ice water into my computer and move to an Amish world without php, smartytags, javascript, or css.

If I still can't get it working tomorrow, I'll forward the scripts to a friend of mine who is more proficient than I am.

nevermind I closed Avant and I have it set to get rid of everything when it closes. So when i came back on I could see the fanart page so i'm good.

This is starting to smell like a cookie problem. I changed some of the settings, and if anyone who has this problem is still up, I'd really like to know if it's had any impact.
