Yakuza boss. Stories with him in that role reel me in every time. Sesshomaru would be the perfect crime boss.

In the future, I imagine Sesshoumaru being a top-dollar psychologist, or an expert animal doctor (veterinarian?)... Though I rather like the irony of him being a dog catcher.

Not that I ever think he would be this, but wouldn't it be hilarious if he was a dog trainer? He could probably just like growl at them a few times, glare a little, and the doggies would be doing backflips through flaming hoops in no time.

I could also see him as a male supermodel, much more successful than Markus Schenkenburg and Tyson Beckford combined, or maybe an Oscar-winning actor.

If Sesshoumaru is still alive during Kagome's time, what do you think he'd be?
I'm rather tired of him being a major business tycoon... though it seems to fit him for the most part.

I've always preferred him as a doctor.

My honest opinion is that his butt is sealed somewhere because he pissed off the wrong people (likely vast army of people) with his snooty attitude and tendency to blow others up. Love the guy, but seriously. Bakusaiga would only accelerate the process.

I could so see that happening, Lady B. He starts thinking a little too high and mighty and someone comes along and knocks him down a few notches.

I don't think future Sesshoumaru would work. He would have accumulated riches from all of his years of doing whatever a youkai does from the Feudal Era to the present and he'd live a life of leisure. Or he'd own some small business, something he doesn't really need but has to keep him occupied.

i read a oneshot/drabble once where he was a dog catcher.
and i've read another where he was a hermit.
o! and i've read a few where he's a dog, like he couldnt keep the human thing going any more.

personally i'd writing one where he's a bum mostly issues with youkai getting power from their land, and he had 2 atomic bombs dropped on his.


as for what i think he'd be? i think he'd be some kinda hermit or mountain man in Canada or something.

The other day I was toying with an idea of making Sess a successful author, writing very detailed drama novels happening in the Feudal era. ;D

As wierd as it sound to me, since in most cases it's a woman, I can't get the idea of Sesshomaru being a stay-at-home dad out of my head. OOOOooo....what if Sesshomaru was like James Bond that'd be hilarious. I've also read a comic where he owned a Natural History Muesuem because at night he transforms and licks the bones of the dinosaurs xDD but I can also see him being an antiquarian or a musuem curator of Fuedal Japanese culture and folktales. Of course I have yet to read a story where he's a doctor or even a male nurse....Sesshy in scrubs I think I can also see him running a daycare or being a pediatrician since he seems good with kids for some odd reason.

eh, well the idea for it came last year around november, i wanted to make a Xmas fic, Kags finds him while shopping for friends for the big holiday. And he's gunna have a human lifespan. I figure logically, he is a spirit of sorts, kinda gets his powers from the land? so if thats the case his lands had two bombs dropped on them, i think he'd age a lot, maybe look like he was in his early/late 30's, and be dying like a regular human b/c of how much pollution is in the world, japan, his Western lands. I'm still writing it, if all goes well it'll be out this Xmas ^_^ its odd to think of him as anything but our hero, so its harder to write for him, b/c he's a lot more bitter.

Yeah , I loove that one- It is called ' Persistence ' by Gradual Wisdom. Very nice fic , full of romnce and excitement. She wrote two separate endings because in the first one ...Sesshou dies and some did not like it , so she wrote an alternate to appease her fans. I personally loved both- though the first one made me go WHAT?!
I like him in just about anything , he is so versatile a character. I am thinking of a new fic where he is in a profession I have never read before- hopefully mine will be the first. { Crosses Fingers.}

i think that i read a story where he was a garbage man. it was definately different.

In some ways I like the IDEA of future Sesshy, but I have difficulty writing him that way myself. So far I have attempted it only once, and it was fairly brief. I think he would do something that allows him to remained (in some way) connected to the past. I don't really see him as an archeologist, but I did read a story where he was the owner of a history museum. I liked that idea for him; I found it rather fitting. He seems like the traditionalist type to me.

I always imagined him as some sort of secretive collector. Like the guy in Highlander since he is such a loner. Associeting himself with a lot of humans probably would annoy him no matter how used he got to them.

OMG Highlander theme story would fit him perfectly!!!!!
