I need to know if anyone else has noticed this. I could be wrong, so please correct me.

Inu- dog
Yasha- female demon

Wouldn't that mean that if you put the two together to form Inuyasha, you would be calling him a female dog demon?

This has been bugging ever since I first noticed that yasha meant female demon....am I right, or not?

I might be wrong, but I thought "Yasha" meant something like, forest child. I will double check, and if I'm wrong, I'll post the correct informantion.
