Over the years I've seen various other holiday fic/art exchanges happen through my various fandoms, even participated in one myself, so I thought that it would be a cool idea to set one up here!

I'm going to do this a little differently from the other exchanges I've ever seen. Rather than sending in what you would like to receive when you sign up, I want to do this more like a Secret Santa. You sign up, you are given a person to do a story or art for, and you go to town! That way what you get in the end will be a total surprise!

Here are the basic guidelines:

- The story/art must be centered around the Sess/Kag pairing, be it romantic or platonic. This is Dokuga, after all!

- There are no word limits on stories, but a oneshot is ideal.

- The story/art can be any genre, but try to keep it in the holiday spirit

- All ratings are welcome, but if you would prefer to keep it under a certain rating please note when you sign up so the person who gets your name will know.

Sign ups are open until October 25, 2008. Names will be handed out November 1, 2008 and you will have until December 20, 2008 12:00AM EST to have your gift back to me so it will be ready for the reveal on December 24th. I will send you my email address with the PM with your person so you will have a place to send it.

If you have to drop out for any reason, please let me know ASAP so I can make due arrangements. Everyone who signs up will get something, even if I have to write a story for each person myself. If you drop out and don't let me know, your name will be removed from the list.

For those who sign up, if you would be willing to write or draw a second piece in the event someone does drop out let me know when you sign up so I can have a back up list in case of emergency.

sounds interesting, but what if one person writes/draws something that includes more mature content and the reciever is uninterested/uncomfortable with such material? Shouldn't you have them say whether or not ratings are an issue w/ them? ((not w/ me it isn't, but i'm just saying. You know how some people are over-sensitive))

If you need an extension, just give me a shout. I wanted things in four days ahead of time for a reason: to give a little leeway. If you don't get it done today, tomorrow is just as fine. As long as I have it on my HD before Tuesday. I'll be posting the stories all day on Wednesday (Christmas Eve).

After the exchange, you can post anywhere you wish. I just asked that stories and art weren't posted before because it would ruin the secret santa idea

I did the same thing when I found that Kermit icon. I fell in love with it, only because I could hear the 'yay' thing he used to do before every Muppet Show!
