I'm sure it is just cuz of teh switch but there are some issues with the chat.

1. it isn't timeing people out when is should like i have closed the window twice now and when i come back into the chat it says i can't use my name cuz it is already in use and i have to change my name so right now we have Inu_tiger_luver, ITL, and ITl 2 in the chat.

2. It has double posted a few messages. IDK if that is a mess up on my side or not though

3. it doesn't say in the dialog box when someone enters, leaves, or changes their name.


if you can help with any of these problem it would be greatly appreciated

Okay, I think I fixed the forever and ever session bug, and probably double posting as well, and notifications are fixed. The default skin we had before i'll put back up a little later, it's throwing errors for some reason.

hmmmmmm. Chat doesnt load for me.

Try again, and this time do control+F5 on the window to clear out your cache. The chat will cache like everything so after changes are made, it'll still use old files.

For me, it didn't load correctly in Safari or Opera, but I uploaded some changes, and I just got it to load in IE8, Safari 3.1.2, Firefox 3.0.3, Opera 9.5 and Google Chrome. You mentioned using Safari, so if it's not loading, would you mind telling me what version you're using? That would be super-helpful.

The newest version, It just says Safari in the description.

I would like you to try both of these and see if either of them loads properly. One of them loads additional javascript, the other doesn't.

And, when you click the link and it won't load, what happens? Does it freeze on a blank page, or does it stop at the box that says 'Chat Loading?'

i'm having issues logging into chat too. it won't go beyond loading. i've tried in IE, firefox and safari with no luck

The first link just loaded for me but the second one just stops on chat loading box

Hi Skye, when you load chat, does it pop up in a new window that looks like the rest of the site or it it more or less blank?

White screen with a box that says Chat loading please wait and then powered by JPF Chat for Joomla underneath. none of the Dokuga skin we've got now. i did the cntl F5 refresh as well
